It’s a cozy and special restaurant with a beautiful Mexican history. I had the pleasure of hearing the owner tell the story and felt very welcome. The food is delicious and fresh. I really like the orchata. They serve you immediately without waiting. Very good service and very friendly. The restaurant is very clean and the bathrooms also have a family atmosphere. You can also sit at the bar and have a good beer and enjoy a good ceviche or snack. I recommend this place 10/10. This time I ordered takeout and only had to wait 10 minutes for my food to be ready. I also love the $2.49 taco specials, a good price and super delicious.

El Molcajete Moya is a very unique restaurant. Our servers Jasmine and Yvonne made me and my husband feel really welcomed. The restaurant was a very clean atmosphere. The bathrooms were meticulously clean. Food came quick and the service was amazing.

Food is fresh, service is like family in our home kitchen. The portions are generous and enough. As an appetizer I chose a Queso Fundido with shrimps, I also had the Fajita Mixta, side of mexican delicious rice and beans and horchata juice. My husband had a Chile Relleno, all three of our choices of food were flavorful, authentic, fresh and delicious. Quality food made with quality ingredients.
The atmosphere was festive and singing could be heard as food was being prepared and brought to our tables, and chores done. It was like home. The decor was beautiful too. Do yourself a favor, go eat there, you will enjoy it and it will be a favorite.

Quick and close to the rear gate of Quantico for a lunch off base without having to go all the way to stafford. Had the taquitos with rice and beans. No chips and Salsa like most Mexican restaurants. Clean and quiet. Food was great, portions were good for the cost. Parking readily available.

Food was very flavorful and service was good. The only reason I’m not giving 5⭐️s is because we ordered a huarache and got a tostada instead. I asked why it was hard and not like a long sope, they responded that that’s the way they make huaraches.

Amazing 1st experience. The food is top tier. The food was so delicious. The chef personally came out when we asked for sour cream because it was a little spicy. We explained it was still great, but he insisted to remake it. The food is authentic! We will be back! This is a small business that deserves your support.

I usually NEVER write reviews but holy crap. The tacos were SO GOOD, they might look small but man are they amazing. For just myself, I got 7 tacos and a large Horchata ended up coming to 33 dollars. It was very amazing. Coming from the west coast this place has very similar tasting to what I’m use to in Nevada / California. The sever was very kind and respectful, it felt like an actual home again. You’d hear music from the kitchen and people talking. Felt like home again. This the average taco is from 3.50- 3.70$ depending on what kind of meat you get. It’s very worth the price and everything. They did up the price on tuesday tacos from 1.99 to 2.25 which is perfectly fine. Reasonable price for the quality of the food. The “head” was AMAZING, flavorful and not that chewy. The tongue, cooked to perfection as well. The chorizo, not to spicy but enough to make you want more. They give you green sauce and a red. Both come with the food, amazing place. Will return hungry again to them. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.

The owner was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond, even giving me a tour of the kitchen. I was amazed by how spotless and well-organized everything was.
