If I could leave a zero star review, I would. I came with my family to celebrate new years and received the worst service imaginable. There was such a long wait to be helped and there were maybe only 4 other tables being served in the whole establishment. The red flag should’ve been the family behind us receiving a 30% discount on their meal but I’m not one to prejudge. The server/manager/ incompetent bartender by the name of DANQUOLE( that’s what my receipt says) was very rude and disrespectful. She began taking our order and left before completing to take a party of 2 order that came in after us. She returned 15 minutes later to get the rest of the table order and seemed to have an attitude for no apparent reason.
My family asked about drink specials and when I saw the Dollarita offered she lied and said the special is only until 10pm and tried to make us believe the current time was 9:30 so they purchase something else instead… (it was only 7pm)
I asked about Jell-O shots and instead of her telling me flavors, she told me the different colors as if we were in primary school.
I’m like ok.. but what are the flavors ?
“They come in colors, I made them myself” That’s even more reason to know the flavors (the nice woman at the bar told me the flavors)
She began walking around talking loudly and cursing about how she can wait to quit and when a coworker asked her why, she stated because of the clientele that she has to serve and how she can’t stand her job. She stated how she can’t wait to be done and by her demeanor, you can tell it was intentional… she wanted us to hear her. She did this several other times especially when she saw me at the bar ordering my own drinks. She cursed out loudly before slamming into the kitchen doors.
The food was standard Applebees quality outside of my chicken being raw. I thought maybe it was one bad piece but nope, it was all. The meat was pink and so was the bones.. when I pointed out the issue there was no apology to be found.
I also believe she did something to one of the drinks she brought me because the straw was already inserted with no paper on it whatsoever.. this is very unusual.. needless to say, I did not drink out of that straw.
If drink orders and a party of 9 stresses you out, maybe being a manager/server/bartender or whatever your title truly is, isn’t for you. I hope there is a resolution to a serious problem at the establishment. This is not how my family wanted to bring in the new year.

Armaan was our waiter. This young man was amazing!!! He was very good to us and attentive to what we needed. The bacon cheeseburger skillet plate was chefs kiss amazing! The spinach dip appetizer was not so great but that’s ok. The vibe was quiet. It was around 5pm so it was nice to be able to have nice conversation and enjoy my meal. Thank you armaan for helping make this happen.

Armaan was quite the server. Very attentive and got all of what we wanted on point. The food was delicious and hot. No delay. Salads were perfect. Not sure who made the ranch dressing but it was perfect. Looking forward to the next visit. Thought Applebee’s was a joke but now becoming a favorite. Especially our server.

Applebee’s has got to put flavor into the food, try some seasonings perhaps. The place needs a makeover for sure. The entrees are great on paper, but the finished product is just bland. But as I said earlier the staff are really friendly and attentive.
