I had an absolutely fantastic experience at this restaurant. The sashimi and sushi were incredibly fresh and delicious — truly some of the best I’ve had. The plating was stunning, almost too beautiful to eat, and you can really see the care and artistry that goes into every dish.
The space itself was spotless and inviting, and the staff were exceptionally attentive from start to finish. The chefs at the sushi bar were a delight to watch — traditional, warm, and clearly passionate about their craft.
Overall, a wonderful spot that exceeded my expectations on every level. Highly recommend!

Came with a party of 8 still shared the table with 3 others. The fried rice was overcooked and it might be a new practice, chef flipped the bowl on plate. I like to eat my rice in the bowl so I pushed a portion back into the bowl. The vegetables were not evenly distributed. My daughter got mostly mushrooms (which she doesn’t like a 1 small zucchini) I received mostly onions and husband mostly broccoli. It was fine but we go there for something special. The most memorable moment was when chef tossed a vegetable and it hit her in the eye for the rest of the meal and until we got home. They brought out icecream and sang to the party of 3 happy Birthday but not my daughter even though we let them know l.

Our family go to for hibachi. We come here for birthday parties because the kids still love the shows and definitely enjoy their food. My husband and I come for quick dinners because their service is so quick. We are in and out in like 40min.

Two things. Firstly John aka Jerome was top tier! Engaging and genuine, loved him. I have been here too many times than I can count. I used to live right around the corner. The first time I actually booked a reservation for 4 for my sister’s birthday and I requested to be seated in front of the chef. I normally go where I’m seated but since I was booking for my sister’s birthday, I wanted to make it special. Well, I got there and was told by the hostess there is an 8 person party. I was annoyed, but whatever I get it, guaranteed gratuity. We sat down and two other people sat in their seats…that’s it. About 15-20 mins go by and the hostess comes back to me and says their party of 8 cancelled. Now even though there’s egg on someone’s face, I still didn’t get my request and she decided to seat the two in front with all other seats empty. The waiters kept forgetting our appetizers, again annoying. The best part was our chef John. And.. we still tipped $100 on a $225 bill ($60 for John and $40 for the staff, staff thank John for your tip) Service needs help. Hey John if you work somewhere else we’ll come through!

The restaurant is nice, I liked the decoration and ambiance. Service was good and the food was normal. I read great reviews before going to the restaurant,but did not do the Hibachi seating, we sat in the a la cart tables and had chicken teriyaki and steak Hibachi. The Hibachi was much better than the chicken.

We have been to Ohjah many many times, we always order the sushi boat and it never disappoints. We went again this past Sunday ordered the same as usual, but let me tell you they have upped their game. The presentation of the sushi boat is like no other, and I seriously thought the sushi couldn’t get better, but it did! Highly recommend ohjah blue diamond 100 x’s over
