We heard about Corky’s Dawg House and had to try it! We were not disappointed. The atmosphere was so much fun and suitable for families or even for a date night. The food was outstanding and every member of the service team was amazing. I had a Chicago dog, my date had a Carolina dog and we split some onion rings. I’ve traveled to Chicago many times for work and can say with certainty that Corky’s is as good as any I’ve ever had! My date said the Carolina dog was well worth the drive from Asheville. The onion rings and their dipping sauce we shared were delicious. As an added treat, we had their homemade chocolate shakes… they were creamy and very tasty! Don’t expect to use a straw on these shakes… they are thick enough for your spoon to stand at attention. All in all, Corky’s Dawg House will be a regular date night standard!

The chili dog, Dirty Mac dawg, onions rings, and cheesecake milkshake were all very good. The first picture looks like a basket of Cajun fries but was actually the Dirty Mac dawg. Crazy good-has Mac and cheese, chili, bacon and Cajun fries. So tasty. Also seeing the two white squirrels was pretty cool.

Our first time here, we found it on Google looking for highly rated places for lunch that wouldn’t empty the wallet. It did not disappoint! The service staff were happy, food really delicious, and the atmosphere was cute with vintage signs and collectibles. Definitely a place to return to again.

Got dinner here as a stop during my roadtrip, everyone was super friendly and nice, all the food was amazing as well, I got BBQ ribs, cajun tots, and a chocolate shake with reeses, im usually a bit picky with bbq sauce so I was excited when I saw that I could get sweet baby rays on the ribs which is my favorite sauce and if im ever in the area again im going to come here just for those ribs, they fell off the bone and were delicious, the tots as well, I believe they might use coconut milk or something similar for the shakes as it had that coconut flavor, im not usually fond of it but I found it to go well with the shake, they also included a free cookie with my order! No clue what flavor it is but it was a more crunchy cookie.

Amazing food, reasonable price for the portions. The red velvet shake is fantastic but beware it is very filling. I only finished my burger and shake because I skiied and hiked over the weekend. Service is good, you order up front and they bring your food to the table.

What an experience! We are from out of town amd genuinely loved this local spot. The food was fantastic and the milkshakes are to die for. The entire place was decorated so perfectly with very cool vintage items. We also loved seeing all of photos of their dogs. It was Christmas time and their tree told a really cool story.

During our visit in Brevard, NC, we learned of this eating establishment, and we are grateful for the discovery. This is a charming restaurant that is a mixture of quaintness and nostalgia and offers a full menu of comfort food. However, the menu selections are by no means run-of-the-mill offerings. Delivered in generous portions by a friendly and welcoming staff, the food is delicious and well conceived. I would think it difficult to find something on the menu that was not worth ordering. We enjoyed our selections and will definitely return for seconds on our next trip to the area.

From South Carolina and came across Corky’s after a day riding around in the mountains . The Perfect Place to eat after having a great day with the wife. I had the pimento cheese burger and she had the Carolina dawg ! WOW!! Amazing and we shared a basket of Cajun fries.. We loved the atmosphere and will drive 1hour 15 min again to eat here besides with so much to choose from on the menu ya just have to… Hey and if your lucky like we were you may get to see one of the local white squirrels like we did ! Corky’s I loved the music play list as well.

Unbelievable food, exceptional service, and small town vibes. Everytime I work in the area, this is my lunch spot. I recommend it to anyone I know that happens to travel through. I don’t think there’s a dish not to recommend on the menu. My favorite is the cheeseburger salad, you won’t regret it.

Very cool place to eat with very good food. There is a neat outside area with tables, plenty of room to spread out and, it’s flat and has a connect four game and a small disc golf area with disc’s provided. The inside is very cozy and all the wood makes you feel like you’re in a cabin. The shake selection is wide ranging and makes your mouth watering just reading the menu. The chicken sandwich was good. If you like golden or mustard base bbq the bbq sandwich is good. The loaded tots are mouth watering and the onions were also delicious. The drink cups could be larger but what kind of complaint is that when the food is great. The staff is very friendly. Highly recommend Corky’s.
