Went to Rib & Chop House to celebrate our Anniversary and had the most delightful dinner! Our server Carissa was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. Our steaks were so tender and cooked perfectly! We had carrot cake for dessert and it was so fluffy and light. We will definitely be back!

I can’t say enough about how the Butte Rib&Chop helped us out on Thanksgiving Day this year.. We had plans to meet with another couple of immediate family members at a competing restaurant just down the street.
I’d called the other place TWICE during the previous week to ensure they’d be open on Thanksgiving Day, & of course, yes, they said they would be…. Well, guess what? They closed early! (If they were even open at all)…We arrived to an empty parking lot, with a closed sign on the side door.
In a panic, I called Rib&Chop. They were so kind, & although they were really very busy, (with a jam packed parking lot), while requiring reservations for this special day, they cheerfully accommodated us almost immediately!
We were able to secure a table in the bar, which was festive & fun. Our food was nothing short of FABULOUS.. The wait staff was attentive & amazing. From the worker who seated us, to the bartender & our server, our holiday couldn’t have been nicer. We were never rushed, had mouthwatering selections from their limited holiday menu, (full on turkey dinner, steaks, (cooked to perfection) pasta, & a seafood offering) & even delighted in their s’mores cheesecake for dessert!
Thank you, Rib&Chop for literally saving our day… Our loyalty is with you from here on out. Pinky promise!

When in town, I love to come here with my family to enjoy a nice evening out for dinner. I have tried quite a few entree’s here and most of them are truly delicious. A couple of the entree’s I would highly recommend is their Chicken Fried Chicken with either cream or brown gravy (both are excellent) with a side of mashed potatoes. For the times I have had this, it has always been cooked to perfection. The breading is light and crispy with the chicken inside being juicy. The gravy is nicely seasoned and adds just the right amount of flavor to the dish. It is that perfect comfort food that will keep you coming back for more. The other entree I would highly recommend is their 6 oz filet with truffle butter. I will emphasize that it is worth the extra money to add the truffle butter. Smother it on your steak and steamed veggies, it just takes everything to the next level and makes the experience a more enjoyable and memorable one. I ordered my steak medium rare (the only way to cook steak in my humble opinion). The waitress immediately had me check my steak to see if it was cooked correctly, and it had been. It had a nice outer char that was full of flavor, and was tender. Customer service has been exceptional each time I have visited here. I would say this is one of the best places to dine in Butte.

Surf n Turf for $30 is a great deal and everything was pretty good. However the garlic mashed potatoes had no garlic in them and had been sitting under a heat lamp long enough to have a crust on top.

I ordered their tomahawk steak,according to them 36oz.
Well, the picture shows an amazing steak with the bone sticking out,
Nope, that is not what we receive,
It was not 36oz, and they brought cut up and without the bone,
When I ask,
Where is the bone,
She said, “Oh,
U want it?
Let me bring it to u,
Are u serious? This bone had so much h meat when she finally brought it to the table,
I feel like they are dishonest,
It was not the weight the advertised, and it did not look as advertised. We paid $ 79.00
I must say.. Besides them not bringing what we ordered, it was delicious.

I loved the steak! My better half ordered the Cedar Plank Salmon with the sauce and it was absolutely delicious. The sauteed button mushrooms in garlic butter were to die for. The service was impeccable, thank you Jan. We split a pecan topped ice cream pie with chocolate drizzle for dessert…the only problem with dessert was then dinner was so filling we left a few bites. Take a look at the pictures to get a feel for the ambiance.
