First time eating here. Order ribeye with eggs hash browns and toast. The meat was hard the eggs and hash browns had no seasoning or flavor and I got a biscuit instead of toast . Also order a fountain drink and they gave me a can . Grits were also stiff as can be . Tried to eat it cause I spent money but it was unbearable.

Our waitress Elina/Elaine has to be the worst waitress I’ve encountered. Not pleasant, ignored us, didn’t deliver everything with our food ordered, we asked for extra sour cream which she never brought. What’s the point of asking again. The food made the highly negative experience much better. It was hot a.d tasty. Would gladly eat here again but would ask for a different waitress.

Went with family last night. I’ve lived in this area since 1986 and finally decided to go. We ordered steak and eggs, it tasted delicious, hot and filling. We also ordered the Cod platter .. wow the cod was amazing. We will return here just for the Cod. Lastly, the coffee was as good as those fancy coffee shops. If you want really great food and coffee and reasonable prices stop by and you will leave happy and full. Thanks to all the staff for such great food and service.

I’ve been here multiple times but this is my first review. What keeps me coming back? The salad bar. The homemade croutons especially. How are they not mentioned in every review?? And I don’t like ranch dressing and I’m lactose intolerant but I eat their dressing. At our last visit, my daughter got a bacon cheeseburger that was too big for her to finish, and she’s 12. We also got a toasted ravioli appetizer and she loved it. The marinara was really good and the front register said she likes it “depending on who makes it” so…it must be homemade! The salad bar always has a soup. This time it was a spaghetti soup and I had spaghetti the night before and didn’t really want it. The only disappointment I’ve had here was when they ran out of croutons at night!

Ordered chopped steak and eggs and gets ground beef told it’s grounded sirloin never heard of that nor is that the description why even ask the cook I want if it’s just a slab of ground beef not even chopped up highly disappointed was my first and last time eating here.

Im given 3 stars because I use to be a regular and no longer go there, due to the changes in service… my husband and I went there every Saturday for almost 2 years and it was lovely.. having a go to place were you good get good food and even better service. Gena would make salsa for us and another waitress was from Alabama and so am I. But as time went by the servers changed and so did our experiences. I decided to go one afternoon after not dining there for a while. Hoping for the best. I order the cinnamon roll pancake combo with egg scrambled with cheese. I was brought pancakes with strawberries and just scrambled eggs. The eggs I could’ve dealt with.. but being allergic to strawberries is another.. SHE NEVER CAME BACK after I ordered to tell me HEY WERE OUT OF THE PANCAKE TOPPING YOU ORDERED..instead she brings me the plate and says.. “we were out of the cinnamon rolls i like strawberries so i brought you that”. At that point im disgusted. I told her I didnt want my food and she could take it. She never spoke to us again.. no refills nothing ignoring allergic reaction could’ve been a factor in changing my order without my knowledge. If she had done her job and simply came back and told me I would’ve completely changed my order..im really saddened to say ill never be going back. My life is more important to me.

Hidden gem, just like everyone is saying. Seated immediately, service (Pam!) was excellent, food was 10/10. Definitely making this a regular stop with my little review buddy.

Decided to stop and give this place a try. The decor in the place is comforting. It’s a diner, but you get that home cooked feeling. Sarah was our server, and she was phenomenal, very friendly, and attentive to our table. The food came out very quickly was hot and accurate. The food was reasonably priced, would come again and bring the kids.

My husband and I have been going here for the last decade and thoroughly enjoy our every visit. I only ever get their breakfast and am always pleased. We didn’t go during the pandemic and only recently returned two weeks in a row and I was shocked to see that their prices are just as low as they were before this economic collapse. We will continue to frequent the diner and support this small business. There are few places around town that serve such quality diner food at such a low cost.
Their biscuits are some of the best I’ve had, SO fluffy!
