Reter’s Crab House and Grille is a family owned Ocean City themed restaurant located right outside Baltimore in Reisterstown Maryland. Reter’s is a high volume restaurant that has been featured in Baltimore Magazine and the Baltimore Business Journal as one of Baltimore’s Best Crab Houses. Our menu ranges from crabs, seafood and fresh fish to prime rib as well as other seasonal specialties. Reter’s has been a staple in the Reisterstown community for the past twenty years and hopes to continue serving the community for many years to come.

Party of two about 6:30 on Black Friday. The restaurant was almost filled, but still had tables available. Our waitress, Mary, was great! She was very helpful in selecting our order first time here. Drinks and food came out quickly and was delicious. We’ll be back and will likely bring family sometime too.

December 6th was our first time here thanks to my boyfriend’s mom’s suggestion. She’s been here before and always raves about it. The drinks are good, very tasty seems heavy poured haha The jumbo crabs are great and seasoned well. Then, the surf & turf burger is good. But I was expecting a different taste with crab meat added. The fries were crispy and tasty. I got the apple crumble cheesecake which was delicious. But I felt it was a bit small for the price. Our waitress was very attentive even though it seemed busy while we were there.

We stopped here for crabs as we were passing through MD. So Happy that we did. We were seated immediately (on a Saturday afternoon) and we ordered 1 dozen medium crabs with medium heat. We also had side dishes of Corn and Asparagus. In addition, I ordered the Ahi Tuna Tacos without the Flour Soft Shell. I like Tuna medium rare and it was perfectly seasoned.
Everything we ordered was delicious and filling.
The atmosphere was chill. TVs around to watch news, games, etc.
They have a Bar and plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor.
We stopped because of the previous reviews we read so “Thanks to them” we stopped.

Our waiter Ray was the best! We were a party of 7 and he tended to our table the entire time we dined. Food was average, we also had cocktails. Some cocktails were watered down while the blueberry lemon martini was very strong and tasteful! They only had male large crabs at $114 a dozen we ordered a dozen & half which were meaty. All in all the onion rings and my cocktail was delicious.

I am so picky when it comes to crabs. They have to be hot, well seasoned, jumbo, and meaty! My 1st time at Reters and I was not disappointed. The crabs and steamed shrimp were 10/10. The restaurant gives neighborhood vibes. Laid back, friendly, with good service.

Went here for the first time to try the rib sandwich special which was definitely worth the price. I also decided to triy the mozzarella sticks as well. The food was great, the waitress I had and all the other employees were attentive. Great experience, be warned if you’re looking for a quiet place to talk with friends it’s not here. The place was incredibly loud, but still a great place.

Had supper at Reter’s Crab House and Grille in Reisterstown. I was seated promptly. The noise level inside was higher than I liked so I asked to be seated outside since the weather was good.
I ordered the Chesapeake Grilled Verde Oysters. It came with melted cheese. You can’t go wrong with melted cheese. When the order came out, I discovered that even though the cheese was melted, the oysters were raw. Normally, I avoid raw seafood because, well, germs, parasites. But I hadn’t eaten breakfast or lunch, so I ate the four oysters. They were delicious.
I recommend Reter’s Crab House and Grille.

Reters was able to accommodate a last minute day before reservation of 40 people and on a Saturday night at that. The service we received was outstanding and the food was delicious. The servers did a great job at keeping our checks separate and they were very attentive, friendly and provided great service. Thank you again Reter’s!
