Jackie’s Ham N Eggs has been serving breakfast and lunch to the DFW community since 1985. Founded by Jackie Shields, a former POW of WWII, and know through the community for her larger than life personality. Ham N Eggs quickly rose to fame amongst the 90’s Superbowl Dallas Cowboys, Mike Modano ,and other local celebs. Whose photos cam be seen along the walls of the restaurant. Known for our ginormous and delicious pancakes, biscuits, and our friendly, We offer a variety of American and Tex-Mex favorites. Ms. Margaret and her family invite everyone to be our guests for a memorable meal. Thank you for reading and hope to serve you soon.

If you like breakfast, you have to try this place (but come hungry). The waitress was great, quick service and good at checking in on you. The food is good and the portions are huge. They have the biggest biscuit we have ever seen. My wife ordered the Veg Out omelette with a biscuit and I had the traveler lite. My wife loved the omelette and said the veggies were really fresh. The biscuit was huge and also really good. I had 2 eggs, bacon and a pancake. The eggs were cooked the way I ordered, and the pancake was big (as in the size of a large plate) and tasted amazing. We enjoyed breakfast and will definitely be coming back again.

I ordered the light traveler. Don’t let “light” fool you. It comes with a GIGANTIC delicious pancake, 2 eggs of your choice, and 1 meat. I also ordered home fries on the side. Everything tasted wonderful, but the pancake blew me away.
My hubby ordered the chicken fried steak with a biscuit on the side. The steak was perfectly thin and the gravy was extremely tasty. Shout out to the giant biscuit, too!

OMG! Holy pancake, Batman. They are the size of (maybe bigger than) my teenager’s head-and he’s got a big head. Pro tip: get blueberries inside, you won’t regret it! And the biscuits are MASSIVE. Thank you, Heather for providing us a great experience for our first time there.

We had occasion to stop here during a trip to the Dallas area, and really enjoyed our visit. We arrived at almost noon on a Monday and enjoyed a five-star experience from the get-go. They weren’t busy…only two other tables were occupied, and a third customer arrived for take-out during our stay. The people at one of the tables were boxing their left-overs. That’s when I first saw one of their enormous biscuits, and knew I had order one. (My wife and I split it, and took another home for one of our sons who cooks and loves bread.) In many ways the biscuit and gravy was the entree’…my western omelet became a side.
We appreciated the individualized service but understand staffers might not be able to pay as much attention during busier periods. Somehow, I think they’d still be personable.
Our server (Heather?) was a hoot, one of those people perfectly suited to her job. The manager shared much about the restaurant’s history in addition to making sure our wants were fulfilled.
I’ve given a five-star rating because in it’s context we had a five-star experience. I suppose the only drawback is that we received too much food for a very acceptable price. However, I enjoyed the leftovers later in the week as much as in the restaurant. We’ve already spoken to other family members who tend to lodge in the area, and will certainly return when our schedule allows.

I was too hungry to take a pic of the food lol sorry. Got the cheeseburger witha side chili to dip my burger in it. YUMMY!! best waitress in the world very accommodating– some just know what u need before you even say it she made me a STRAWBERRY SPRITE… aye when you come ASK FOR HEATHER!!! Thanks for making us comfortable on our 1st time there! Definitely coming back

I stopped by Jackie’s Ham and Eggs and the portion sizes for the pancakes were humongous, nice, and fluffy — definitely a highlight. I also ordered the jalapeño burger with bacon, and while the toppings tasted great, the burger itself was greasy with little flavor and the bottom bun was soggy. I ordered scrambled eggs but received over-easy instead; my waitress was kind enough to have them re-cooked with cheese, but they were still lacking in flavor. The loaded fries were good but the portion was small, and there wasn’t quite enough cheese and eggs on top. Overall, the pancakes and friendly waitress stood out, but some of the other items could use improvement.

We had Migas- great, chorizo- great, omelette – great, french toast- great. Servings were huge. Ordered pancakes to and they put them in a Pizza box because they are so big. The biscuit was so big, four of us split it and none of us could finish our portion.
