Reviews we read were best fries in Ashland, not. The fries at Ruby’s or Pub 31 are the best FRESH cooked fries in the area. My veggie burger was burnt. The fish, fries, veggie burger, jalapeno poppers. Etc tasted like frozen food. Not worth the price. Will not be returning.

We called ahead for a walk in order of the chicken skewers meal with sweet chili and peanut sauce, paired with organic greens and brown rice—nutritious and tasty. Added espresso ice cream, creamy and perfect for a park stroll, melting into a fluffy, mousse-like texture. Will definitely return!
Side note: every experience with the staff was superb and matched with a genuine smile.

I came here with my friend and really loved the place! They have indoor and outdoor seating, and we chose to sit outside — it wasn’t too cold at the time.
We got burgers (no photos, sadly ), but we did snap a pic of our mocktails. She got the Piña Colada and I got the Mojito — both were sooo good! For appetizers, we had jalapeño poppers, and I fell in love with them — seriously so tasty.
The waitress was super sweet, and I loved every second of our visit.

Good service and good food with reasonable prices. Also has a wide selection. Truffle fries were ok. the Oregon Ribs which did not have much of a blackberry taste but were still good. Chicken skewers had a spicy sauce along with them. Somewhat small for $11. Chicken. Canoes were tasty. Drinks were strong. My wife liked the lavender lemon drop so much she got 2. Service was attentive. Food came fast.

Great service! Ribs were delicious. Wings amazing! Fries excellent, but some not cooked all the way crispy. Kiddo loved the hot dog. Louie’s is a gem here in Ashland. Definitely recommend. Reasonable prices, great service, great cocktails.

After a beautiful hike at the Japanese garden, a group of us stopped for lunch. The restaurant appeared to be about 1/3 full . The prices were reasonable. They offer indoor and outdoor seating, have a public bathroom to wash your hands. Our waiter was polite but we had to continuously ask him for things, finally gave up on the lemon wedges and extra napkins for our table. I had the fish and chips and a cup of soup. The clam chowder was delicious. The fish and chips however well they could have been hotter and it was definitely a frozen boxed fish. I’ve had better. When it was time to pay my bill I did not leave a tip on my card as I was going to pay cash on the table but the waiter made a snarling remark about. “Oh Isn’t that generous No tip” despite his sarcastic remark, I still left a tip but will not be returning.

We tried out Louie’s on a recent trip to Ashland, and boy was it good! We lucked out with weather and were able to sit out back on the patio which was delight and right next to Lithia Creek! The staff were very friendly and helpful with making menu suggestions. The food was delicious and came very quickly! This is a great eatery to try on your next visit to Ashland!
