Jenny’s Diner is awesome! The homemade soup was amazing and the pancakes were fluffy with great flavor. Honestly, everything we had was delicious! Our waitress was fantastic, the staff was super friendly, and the restrooms were clean. Definitely coming back!

Very popular place. Got quite busy during our visit, most tables were filled.

We found our waitress to be very friendly very quick, very efficient; she was great. (Cassie)

Menu was large, prices were good, we were looking forward to our meal.
Food came out quickly.

Unfortunately, I did not realize that my top sirloin would come out covered in cracked pepper as I have a pepper allergy. I have been told it’s common for restaurants to garnish steak with cracked pepper but I never experienced it myself so I didn’t think to ask not to have that.
I tried to wipe it off.

What I couldn’t fix was that approximately half the steak was completely inedible. It was cooked the way I had asked, and it looked beautiful, but when you tried to cut it there was a gigantic vein of gristle running through and it was simply impossible to cut, and hazardous to try to swallow. An incredible shame because I hate wasting food but it was not edible

My dining companions chopped sirloin, he said was served with too much pepper as well.
The specials of the week all looked great, and the cream of chicken soup that came with the meal was very good.

I took my y son out for soup on a cold day. He works on the Rock Creek Solar project and I work on it too along with Clinton County Wind.
To he thing that stand out for me is, even their side dishes are memorable. The French fries served with his club sandwich were crisp, seasoned to perfection and not overly greasy. Their soups are amazing too. I remember trying their ham and bean soup as a side to an amazing, kale-based salad. It was so good, I ordered a bowl.
This time out with my son, I ordered a bowl of their chicken noodles soup. It was on par with their ham and bean soup. The server was very helpful too.

My taco salad was delicious. The salsa on the side had enough heat to be called a salsa and there was more than enough to fill me up. Service was excellent despite it being quite busy. Very comfortable environment. A bike rack would have been appreciated, since I couldn’t resist biking on such an unseasonal gorgeous day.

The place is clean and people are friendly but the food was disgusting. Raw hasbrowns and taste like the came out of the grease trap. Biscuits were burnt and undercooked at the same time. My bacon was so burnt to the point it was inedible. However, my dog loved it all.

We had a late luch here and were very pleased. Good food, homemade soup, friendly staff! Best of all, reasonably priced! Wish they were closer to Cedar Rapids.

Stopped here while driving through on vacation. I wanted to go here because the reviews were good and the diner had my name in it.

I had a club sandwich with hash browns and my husband had a salad with chicken. Food tasted fine but not out of the ordinary if you are looking for something special. Definitely a restaurant made for families.

It was a slow weekend night and I feel the waitress and front counter could done more for customer service and also swept up the messy floor. A simple broom and dustpan would have done the job and looked better.

The food was okay. Bacon thin. Eggs snotty. Toast glopped on fake butter. Hash browns tasted like old grease. My meal was $15 and I tipped $10. I wasn’t even thanked for the generous tip.

Explain this? No baked potato on regular menu but yet you order from Sr. menu you have baked potato option?

Just a regular sit down restaurant. We were here for breakfast. We both had skillets. I had the House Skillet and my wife had the Ham Skillet with mushrooms added. The food and service was very good. The wait time to get our food was quick and the place was not overly busy.
