As for the food, we began with Tequeños, which were a fantastic choice for an appetizer. The crispy, golden exterior paired perfectly with a creamy dipping sauce, making them a hit at our table. For the main course, I opted for the Cuban Sandwich, while my wife chose the Deep Fried Pork. Both dishes were bursting with flavor and had a wonderful balance of textures. The Cuban Sandwich was particularly impressive, with its layers of savory meat and perfectly toasted bread.
Overall, everything we ordered was delicious, and the inviting atmosphere made our experience even more enjoyable. My wife and I are already planning our next visit, this time bringing our son along to share in the delightful offerings of Mojitos. Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a taste of Cuban cuisine!
To eat, we had the fried cubed pork (Masitas De Puerco) and the Chicken Breast Filet (Pollo a La Plancha) – both were delicious. My favorite was the plantains. Our appetizer was the soup of the day and 2 empanadas – the chicken one was the best.
To drink, we tried the cuban peach mojito, the regular mojito, and the mango mojito. All were great and perfectly strong. We liked the mango one the most.
Our waitress was Sofie/Sophie. She was great!
They have updated their menu with no dishes, which are more fun and tasty. If you do plan on going for the weekend nights with the live music, I suggest getting there early or plan to eat outside because it gets very packed and the wait time could go up to 40 minutes (from my experience).
The food is great. The service is great. It’s a loud environment obviously because of the live music. The servers are very accommodating and friendly.
Parking varies. Obviously on weekends it’s more packed to making it more difficult to find parking but during lunch hours, it’s not as bad.
Definitely recommend going and checking out the live bands. It’s just a fun experience!
After flagging down a server inside by tapping on the glass, our server came back out to take our order. I figured she forgot about us. I tried ordering the gumbo and was told it was a seasonal item…..Then why is it on the main menu???
So instead I ordered what became the worst Cuban Sandwich I’ve ever had. Sahara desert dry. I thought it was going to be amazing because it took over 25min for it to come out. I honestly believe it was made very quickly and sat under a heat lamp for the remaining time. As you can see from the pictures there was no pride taken in the creation of this sandwich.
My wife’s Chicken Ceasar salad was very good. Perfect ratio of salad/dressing ratio so it wasn’t too dry or soggy.
This was our first time here. We will be back as we believe in second chances and this may have been an off day for everyone.
I wanted to have a variety so I got the mojito sampler and would get it again.
