Not my favorite but not horrible. This was our first time. We got a burrito and an enchilada. I loved that the tortillas were warm and their guac was really good! The service was SUPER slow even though they weren’t busy – not friendly but not rude – she put the food on the tray so it’s a win. The food was… Eh. The meat was really sweet (which was weird) and the rice was under cooked. The atmosphere is good – the dining area was clean and the music isn’t ridiculously loud. Over all, just not somewhere I want to spend another $41.49 at. (and they had the longest receipt I’ve ever seen for our simple orders… Lol)

Haley was amazing. The store had everything ready and packed, she explained anything that needed to be, packaged neat and tidy, friendly and offered the most fabulous customer service with a smile in the world. This is my 2nd go round with Cafe Rio but the other was a different location and this was night and day and hands down the best order and pick up bar none. That staff needs a raise because they were on top of everything, boxing, bags, utensils, I didn’t miss a single thing and everyone loved the food and took home leftovers for tomorrow. We’ve always loved this place, but this service made it even better, and I didnt even know that was possible. Thanks Moreno Valley store near Day Street : )

This was someone else’s suggestion. It says they close at 1030. We were there at 9:25. They were already breaking down everything. The portions were minuscule, tiny, snack size. This guy was scraping the bottom of the containers like he was really doing something. I made a few comments, is that it. Not expecting to get things piled on, but a decent portion. They have a self-serve beverage station. Good selection of hot sauces by the condiment section. You really don’t need much. Because you will not get much food to put it on. Public restrooms are available. Indoor seating along with an outdoor patio area. There is a drive-thru. Not sure what they would give you there. Parking lot is tight. Handicap parking is not close to the main entrance. We ended up purchasing something else on the way home as well.

This is a pretty solid Café Rio location. I would imagine it gets pretty busy, but it was totally dead when I visited. I feel like Chipotle is the better version of Café Rio, but I was given a gift credit for here. I was surprised at how good the guacamole was, but the grilled chicken was extremely dry. The staff was very friendly, and made me feel welcome. I very much appreciated that. Great service goes a long way to making a return visit. Thank you Moreno Valley Café Rio! I will definitely be returning! Four stars, solely because the food just isn’t amazing.

You come in amd everyone doesn’t want to help you. They push to go orders for the end!!! And they treat customers like trash when they have questions about service. I hope they change the employees around within the week. Not even the manager deserves to work at an establishment where you’re serving people. You should be serving food and a nice welcoming time…..

I haven’t been there in at least 3 years last time I was there it was great beyond description during this visit I observed lots of trash on the floors of the food prep area dirty utensils on the grills The grills were dirty or not cleaned off many items were sitting in areas with non-refrigeration The individual behind the register seem to be the only one trying to maintain the entire eating area. The fountain area for drinks was a mess.
But I will say this The food tasted great regardless of the unsanitary conditions throughout the cooking area.
I hope they find an individual to take over this store and bring it back to its better days.

It was i wanted chicken. I asked could they make more. The cook turned around with an attitude and said no he’s not cooking anything else. I asked the server what time they closed and he said 10:00pm…. it was 8:07pm. I don’t know what the green stuff is, but it looks like a shelf of something. I have a picture of the very rude chef but I dot think I can post him. If I can let me know and I will.

I really don’t think the big girl who served me tonight should be working in the food business. Not only does she look like she eats wayyyy too much of said food, but she had a horrible attitude. To top it also off, she forgot to give me my beans and rice! This place is such a rip off now! One burrito and one quesadilla for $31! Ridiculous!

This is my go-to spot for a quick, healthy, affordable meal. I’m here every week and they never disappoint! A bowl or burrito with a fresh tortilla and all the fixings hits the spot every time. The green salsas and vinaigrette are my favorite. Their drinks are also very good. It’s always very clean inside, and the lobby music isn’t terrible either which is rare these days.
I come here a lot and want to shout out some of the employees! Starting with the manager, Hallie, she always greets me with a big smile and wonderful attitude. Also Mariale, Michelle, Britney, Paul, and David. Thank you guys!!
