Chicken was cold and felt like it was just sitting around waiting for someone to order it. Even the quarter pounder was cold and chewy. Definitely not going back to that mcdonalds

I used to think no McDonald’s on Earth could possibly be worse than the one in Brandon, SD… and then I met the McDonald’s in Luverne, MN.
I rolled up wanting a simple 10-piece McNugget—nothing fancy, not a Michelin-star tasting menu—and somehow ended up spending 25 minutes in the drive-thru. At that point I wasn’t sure if they were cooking the nuggets or raising the chickens out back.
And with those heinous wait times combined with reckless prices, you’d swear you accidentally pulled into a Red Lobster. For the money and the wait, I should’ve at least gotten a biscuit and a guy playing smooth jazz.
Management really needs to hold themselves to a higher standard, because as it stands, they’re definitely not inspecting what they expect… unless what they expect is chaos, confusion, and lukewarm nuggets.

I guess when you order a big Mac, it’s just buns lettuce and that sauce the chicken sandwich definitely had Ben in the warming tray. A little long chicken nuggets were like rubber nuggets fries cold Fountain drink good tried to give it a half a star wouldn’t let me.

This is the nastiest McDonald’s I’ve ever seen! Absolutely filthy and FULL of flies. Every table was dirty and the counter where you fill up your drinks and get condiments was disgusting! And it wasn’t because they were busy. There was one other table occupied at this time. The cashier was very nice and our food was ready in no time, but I’m pretty sure that’s because it had been sitting there for a while. Gross! Don’t do it!

I went through the drive through today around 1pm, there was a long line. When I finally got to the order area I ordered 2 caramel frappes, waited in line, paid at pay window, waited some more to get to the pick up window and the young lady told me she was sorry but the frappe machine wasn’t working! Asked if I wanted something else, I said yes, a refund. This whole process took 45 minutes from order to refund. Why didn’t they tell me at the order spot?? But, my husband went there around 6:30 pm and he got 2 Caramel frappes, he told them about me being there earlier and they admitted it wasn’t broken, they just didn’t want to make any!! What kind of restaurant would do this?! I’m beyond disappointed.

Horribly Slow and lacking : Wait time was extremely long – probably close to 15 minutes before even ordering – with only 1 car in front of me. I even called the restaurant to ask if they were still open. After ordering, still a long wait. Fries were just over 1/2 full, sandwich had a sparse amount/dab of sauce. I did not receive a receipt, so had to call to ask for one – by this time there were probably 5 or 6 cars lined up, and I was advised I would have to go back through the drive through to get it. I indicated that would not work, and the employee did bring it out – and was nice, also offered to give me another order of fries, but at that time I was very leery.

This is so ridiculous and they need to shut down the McDonald’s in Luverne MN. They didn’t not listen to my dad’s order. My dad ordered two number 7’s and they gave my dad two McDouble. They gave my dad no receipt. They were very rude to my dad. When my dad confront the person who gave him the bag. But when my dad told him that it was the wrong order. The coworker ran inside the building hiding from him. And they gave him the wrong drink too. The food they gave him didn’t even look appetizing to eat. Thank you McDonald’s in Luverne for losing my appetite and the respect I have for you. I will never come back here ever again. I recommend going to Brandon or Sioux Falls if you are going to get McDonald’s.

It is too bad this is one of the first things visitors to Luverne see when entering town from the interstate. Had to return to the store because they made my double quarter pounder with bacon a quarter pounder with bacon. The new sandwich had no seasoning on the patties and was extremely greasy. The French fries tasted and smelled like they were past their seven minute hold time. Thanks for the expired apple pie!
