The food is so good and well made, only if you are willing to wait and have patience cause if you think about it making food takes time. Don’t be a Karen. Anyways I would definetly come back. I order a salad with rice and pechuga asada, so delicioso i devoured it. My sibling got the “children menu” fries with pechuga empanizada and she 100% ate it all. Cause of how good it was! The portions are big but that ain’t a big deal cause now you have leftovers for later .

I was really disappointed with the tamales I received. They had uneven distribution of filling, were poorly wrapped, and honestly did not resemble properly made Colombian tamales. The wrapping was so loose that if I were to boil them again, they would completely fall apart, which defeats the purpose of how tamales are traditionally prepared.
I called the restaurant first, and they themselves admitted this is not how their tamales normally look, so I returned in person hoping for a refund. Unfortunately, once I showed them the tamales, they changed their stance, claimed they were “fine.” The staff was rude and unaccommodating, which made the situation worse.
Mistakes happen, but standing by a clearly flawed product and treating customers poorly is unacceptable. I expected better quality and better service.

It was a very bad experience. I paid $24 for it. The meat was bad and burnt. I wanted to contact them, but no one would talk to me. They were just laughing. It was the worst experience I have ever had.

Unpleasant experience
I rarely leave bad reviews, but I felt I had to share this. I walked to 7-Eleven to grab a coffee and decided to stop by Mi Colombia for one empanada. When I asked the price, the lady told me it was $2. I mentioned I was just 5 cents short, and instead of showing any kindness or understanding, she turned me away.
It was embarrassing and left me with a very unpleasant feeling about this place. If you’re looking for friendly service, I recommend going across the street to Kelley Restaurant instead. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend Mi Colombia based on my experience.

Ordered takeout from here recently.
Pretty standard above average Colombian food. Bandeja was good, great portion of maduros. Overall good value on this dish too.
Tres leches cake was stellar!

Always enjoy having something to eat here when I’m in the area. Great Colombian food and good prices. Be sure to take a Jugo Naturales as well. I recommend the mango.

I’ve gotten two tres leches cakes in the past along with pastries and they always taste so good. If only the designing would come out a little cuter.

This place was sooooo good!! Definitely a hidden gem in Elizabeth. I came for brunch with my husband and son. All of our food was fresh and hot. The service was great the ladies who work there were very nice. We’ll definitely be back.

I really like this place, whether I’m there for dinner or lunch. Their tostones lunch specials are really good. Service is always good and pleasant also. I definitely recommend it.
