I hired The Scullery private dining room in The Bothy for a 40th Birthday celebration. The room is absolutely stunning. The food waz amazing and great choice of drinks.
There was great communication back and forward whilst organising my event. Pre ordered and paid for the food in advance. We got use of a bluetooth speaker to let us play our own music. Had the room 12pm-6pm . We had our own private waitress Steph who was absolutely amazing. She was so helpful, so friendly and great at recommending cocktails. She really made the whole day go soo smoothly. She was a star.

The food was spectacular! I really enjoyed the pork with mashed potatoes , carrots , and turnips. We also had soup and steak which was scrumptious. The Sticky Toffee Pudding was mouth watering delicious!
The service was phenomenal! The place was so unique and decorated beautifully. This was my favorite restaurant during my visit to Glascow.

We had an absolutely wonderful evening at The Bothy. The atmosphere was warm, relaxed, and authentically Scottish, perfect for a cozy dinner. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavour, from the starters to the desserts.

Amazing and the most delicious food and wine. There was seven of us and everyone absolutely loved every course they had. Excellent service from Vasu (and others.) Vasu was so professional, friendly and fun. Lovely Christmas atmosphere. We had a fabulous time.

My partner and I would visit here on multiple occasions for a celebration and this year’s valentine is not an exception. The food and atmosphere are fantastic as always – dimmed mellow light as we sat at the cozy corner surrounded by artistic decor and chilled lounge music. Ox cheek croquettes are perfectly cooked to an extent that the outer crust is just thin and crispy tender and juicy on the inside.
Monkfish is perfectly seasoned, fresh, chewy but not stringy. The langoustine sauce with touch out black garlic is def a great match for this dish, very creative.
Lamb chop and shoulder is perfectly cooked, felt like no complicated seasoning here but still amazing taste.
On the other side: just a personal experience but just a genuine feedback on the service: when our desert plate got taken off no one has actually come to ask if we would like some tea / coffee or checked if we want some refill on water while the table sitting next to us got asked when they have finished their desert. Proceed to ask for the bill but found out that dish is not charged as stated on the set menu and the £20 deposit previously paid upon reservation was not deducted either. Haven’t I double checked the bill just before tapping on card machine I would have been overcharged for £40.

Booked a table for 10 at the Bothy on Saturday 10th January. For my husbands 70th birthday lunch. Everything was amazing from the food to the service to the price. I love the cosy atmosphere it perfectly embraces the Scottish art of Coorie. I would heartily recommend it for either an informal lunch,special birthday event or their special Burns Lunch/Supper.

Great food, when sunny the outdoor is a charming place. The interior is very nice too. The food is fine and comfy. Really recommend for creative food or good classic. Nice wine selection and craft beer.

Attended a Christmas do with friends here and the dining room they prepared for us was breathtaking. The food was very good, but service fairly slow. Each course took an hour to come out and the drinks were a bit inconsistent with the arrival times. We were a very large party though, so I appreciate this may not be the standard for them. One of our party weren’t able to make it due to illness and I was able to get their meal packaged up so they wouldn’t miss out. Unfortunately their dessert was not included in the food parcels (which has been paid for in advance as part of the course) but I still really appreciated that we got most of the order and that they gave it to me towards the end to ensure it didn’t sit for too long. All in all, it was a wonderful experience and I’d recommend them for a function if you want to wow your guests.
