India Palace: Experience Authentic Indian Cuisine in Phoenix
Reviews
The naan deserves a special mention easily one of the best I’ve had, not just in the U.S., but across all the Indian restaurants I’ve visited. Fresh, soft, and perfectly baked every single time.
What really sets this restaurant apart is that every dish has its own distinct flavor profile. Unlike many places that rely on the same base gravy for multiple curries, here each item tastes unique and thoughtfully prepared.
The service was just as impressive as the food. A special thanks to our waitress, Jessi, who was warm, attentive, and made the entire dining experience even more enjoyable.
Great taste, great service, and a wide variety of options to choose from. The buffet is a fantastic way to explore different dishes and discover new favorites.
Highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic North Indian cuisine!
We wanted to try this place we’ve never been to before and were pleasantly surprised that they had the lunchtime buffet going. 🙂
My husband loved everything he tried and really enjoyed the lamb offerings.
We had togo for the grandson and he loved his butter chicken and garlic naan.
The naan is wonderful and very tasty.
There were at least five different options that I could enjoy and each one was excellent!
Love this is woman owned and family ran business! Great job! The staff were very friendly!
We will be back and want to bring the grandson for the buffet too.
Thank you
Fran & Phillip
Every dish tastes distinct, unlike, others who use the same gravy for everything.
Great taste, great service and many varieties. Buffet is a good way to explore!
Let’s talk about the food—I could go on forever! The chicken masala, chickpea masala, and lamb are perfection, full of rich, comforting spices that hit just right. And those crispy onion delights paired with the cool, tangy yogurt sauce and vibrant green chutney? Unbelievable. The naan? Always warm, fluffy, and packed with flavor. Fresh, crisp veggies bring everything together, and don’t even get me started on the tea—served with syrupy sweets and a cozy, creamy treat that reminds me of arroz con leche.
Words can’t do this food justice—you **need** to experience it for yourself. Once you do, you’ll understand why I keep bringing my family and friends back again and again. This restaurant isn’t just a place to eat—it’s an experience, a moment of joy, shared with the kindest, most humble people behind the scenes.
If I could give six stars, I wouldn’t hesitate. A true gem. You can thank me later—after your inevitable food coma!
Highly recommend!
Despite being a self-serve buffet, the service was exceptional. The staff was attentive and kept checking in on us to ensure we had everything we needed. They offered a variety of fresh and hot bread options, including naan and roti plain, butter, garlic, and more. They also refilled our water glasses and provided other assistance whenever needed.
The food was a delightful experience. The goat curry, chicken curry, spinach curry, and lentil curry (although it didn’t resemble traditional daal makani, I thoroughly enjoyed it) were all delicious. The pakora (deep-fried batter-coated vegetables) was cooked properly for once. The carrot halwa was an absolute treat!
The only minor disappointment for me was the chai. It was a bit too diluted and watery for my taste. However, this didn’t dampen the overall enjoyment of our sumptuous lunch
