We tried this Friday night – My friends and I had to wait in the rain as we were repeatedly yelled at for “blocking the window” by standing under the awning in the rain to wait for our uber. I think the girls were mad people were leaving because they had decided to close the dining room.
Been here before, tipped them 30% and prebussed my own table, because I also work in the industry and I know how it gets. But, doesn’t matter, they’ll treat you like garbage here just because they’re having a bad night. Any job I’ve had, I would have been fired for treating a guest the way these ladies did.
Used to come here all the time, won’t be back, and recommend others just get food downtown and support those businesses instead. Even the people waiting outside near us saw how they were acting and said they wished they had just gone somewhere else.
If someone who owns/manages this location actually reads these reviews, I’d recommend managing how your staff is running your business, because currently they’re just running people off from what should be a high traffic location that builds your brand instead of tarnishing it.
I won’t be returning and I’ll be telling everyone I know, especially downtown, the same.

When I arrived to pick up this order that was not even gonna be cooked to specifications anyway. Only part of the order was prepared and I had to sit and wait for over 10 minutes for the other part of my order be cooked while the rest of us sit there and continue to get cold. When I complained about this and asked if I could get a re-cook or a refund of any kind, the road waitress named “breezy“ said hell, no laughed at me and walked away! Then I asked for the order number so that I may leave a complaint regarding the situation and ask for a refund through corporate, she gives me attitude about this. The Koch, who was polite during the entire situation printed my receipt so that could have my order number. The rude waitress did not stop here. No she decided to further complicate the situation by demanding that I get up off of her table, as if I was not welcome to be there or even so much to sit at one of our tables while I waited for them to correct their mistake!! Unbelievable! When I refuse to get up from her table, she then starts cussing and yelling at me and the man that I leave the store!! Worst experience at any waffle House or any restaurant otherwise! Waffle House has been going downhill for many years and this is unacceptable from the ordering process, the cooking process to the customer service. I would definitely never return to this location and will most likely never order from another waffle house. Period.
