Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

We used the drive thru. I have to say this was the BEST customer service ever!! The girls were super nice and had the greatest attitudes. The order was perfect and the food was good. I have to say, the friendliness of the staff made it a great experience! Give those ladies a raise.

Customer service is awful here. They don’t repeat your order and ask for your order in a very rude manner. At least food was hot and fresh. Took over 15 for lunch during breakfast time.

haven’t had Whataburger in many many years. I stopped in this location passing through. This restaurant is in a small strip center adjacent to the Walmart in Lufkin. It appeared clean and the manager Ruben was friendly, efficient and courteous. i ordered my food, went to restroom and my food came out promptly. the fries seemed over fried. although hungry i didn’t eat them all. burger was as good as i remember. i returned to the counter for a shake to go. young female employee at counter not as friendly and receptive as Ruben. shake was acceptable but not worth almost $4. Whataburger is an institution. last tif bit: an employee brought the condiment tray around and by my table to see what condiments i would like. nice touch & reduces waste.
