The restaurant itself has a warm and comfortable atmosphere, making it a great place to enjoy a meal whether you’re dining alone, with friends, or with family.
The service was outstanding as well. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was served promptly.
Overall, I truly loved my visit here. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great steakhouse in BSD
Coming to the menu, the menu had a lot of options. The steak was very tasty, fully cooked and juicy. I really loved it.
Also tried the salads as well. In the end, tried the ice cream which was sweet and delicious. It’s a good place to visit if you’re visiting BSD.
This restaurant serves a variety of steak dishes. I ordered the Butler Steak (with creamy spinach as a side dish) and Steak & Egg. All dishes were served excellently and deliciously.
The warm and elegant atmosphere of the restaurant increase the dining experience.
Thankfully there was N.O.B cafe right in front of it, so I could wait there while I get my coffee.
It wasn’t a long wait, I think 15 minutes then they called us inside.
The food was quite good, the service was great, initiatives of the staff was something I really appreciated.
We ordered:
1. Wagyu Butler’s Steak
This was quite nice. Sadly didn’t get that “oomph” that hits the spot, but it was still a decent steak.
2. Charred-Caesar Salad
Veggies were fresh, tha balance of the caesar dressing, cheese tuile, balsamic, lettuce, croutons was just perfect (there was some bacon bits too, but I didn’t get much of it) – portion is huge, so this is definitely fulfilling.
3. Tuscan Salmon
Loved the salmon! (compared to the steak). Great balance here as well with the fried/dried (?) kale, radish, mashed potato, and the creamy sauce being put together with the perfectly cooked salmon (it wasn’t dry at all). This was lovely.
Dessert:
They have a complementary ice cream with a cone here. Since I wasn’t in the mood for ice cream, I had an additional molten lava cake (which is an add-on, plus it’s not in the menu, so do check with the staff). Molten lava cake wasn’t as runny as I usually get them in restaurants, but it still have great flavor. Was a bit too sweet for my partner, but I didn’t mind it (comes back to your own preference – mind you, it’s not heavily sweet but the sugary taste can linger if you don’t like sweets).
It was a good first Butler’s Steak experience.
Meat was tough and dry, though flavour was ok. May consider sous vide or quick sear prior to grilling to decrease the loss of meat juice.
Bone marrow carbonara’s pasta need to be more al dente, because from plating to serving the pasta will further “cook itself” from its own heat. Would be great if the bone marrow is smoked to enhance the flavour and decrease the greasy after taste.
Their food was nice, ordered two steak and a couple of side dishes.
At the end of the course you will get a complimentary ice cream made in front of you using dry iced. Its quite a unique experience.
Will definitely be coming back here for the fourth times, thank you for having us!
Delivious. Cozy place. Nice atmosphere.
