There was a large sign outside stating that the dining room was open, but inside there was still a sign indicating takeout only. The chairs were stacked and a chain blocked off part of the dining area, which made it seem unorganized and unclear. It appeared they may have been very busy or short staffed, as there was a long single line and no one actively taking orders at the time. The overall experience felt confusing and poorly coordinated.

Unacceptable and Unsanitary – Hair Found in Food!

My recent experience at the McDonald’s on 2401 University Avenue in East Palo Alto was exceptionally disappointing. The level of unprofessional service was unacceptable, but what truly crossed the line was the lack of hygiene, with hairs found in my meal, making the food inedible. I purchased food expecting a certain standard of quality and cleanliness, and what I received was both disgusting and a severe breach of public health expectations.
It is frankly appalling to have to sort through my food to ensure its edibility; paying for food should come with the assurance that it’s clean and safe to consume. This establishment failed on both counts, with staff exhibiting unprofessional conduct and an overall lack of sanitary control. I expect better service and food quality, especially when I am paying for it. Finding hair in my food is absolutely unacceptable, and I will not be returning. I strongly urge management to address these critical issues of hygiene and professionalism to prevent other customers from having such a repulsive experience.

If I could rate this location a 0/5, I absolutely would. This is a truly terrible experience, and I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Was double charged on the app at this location that I have never visited. Contacted customer service for a refund for about $5.00, that required an investigation, and over an hour of being on the phone. I also called the store directly and the employee I spoke to lied and said orders that werent picked up would be refunded within 24 hours. Finally after 4 days the manager calls me and tells me I either have to put in a dispute with my bank or go through a bunch of extra steps to get a $5.00 check. At this point I’m more mad at the waste of my time than the broken app stealing my money. If I ever do actually visit this store, I will be sure to put in a low review on McD voice as well. I also never got my refund as I already wasted too much time up to that point.

OMG!! Where do I even start?? Me, my grandparents, my sister, and my little cousin order food, 7 items in total, and it takes around 30-40 minutes for them to give us the food. I understood, because they may have had online orders or a busy drive-thru. But when I got the food, I opened my chicken wrap that was not supposed to have the spicy sauce, but I open it and it is FILLED with it!! Then my cheeseburger’s patty was pink!! I almost got nauseous!! Never choosing this location again!! 🙁

Owner in a ranger rover sees me walking in to buy and he says I’m blocking the parking with my trailer the parking lot is empty. On the back and side. May be you should be more humble. So I left. You should treat customers with respect ask politely

These ladies at this location are the sweetest most efficient workers that you will find at any fast food location. The manager must be a hell of a great employer! Please be kind to them and know mistakes and delays are a natural thing in life.
