The food was hot, delicious and plentiful. Our server was amazing..pleasant, personable and patient (we took forever to order lol). The margaritas were also delicious. I will most definitely be back.

Not sure why this hidden gem only gets 4 stars but it’s easy 4.6 or higher. Salsa to start, fresh chips and the guacamole, wow, so good!! Also, great menu too, good strong drinks too ha. Stop by and check it out.

This was our first time dining tonight and most likely the last as everything was underwhelming as a whole. Upon entering there was a light whiff of cleaning solution which I always find odd in an establishment that serves food. Our hostess was semi friendly, sat us in a crusty table w/ ripped benches seats. And honestly after reading so many awful reviews I had very low expectations, thankfully. The waiter took a while to walk over to us, two tables total at that time. A beer and skinny margarita w/“top shelf” tequila were given, wish I would’ve asked what it was for $15. Oh well, decently made. The queso to start was definitely processed, overally thin and served super quick, room temperature. My husband had three tacos that he mentioned he wouldn’t rush back for and my grilled chicken quesadilla tasted exactly like a Philly cheesesteak w/ chicken, weird. Do I recommend, no, definitely better Americanized Mexican elsewhere.

Some sneaky shenanigans going on to raise bill to get a higher tip? Went for their 2$ taco special on Tuesday that’s advertised for 3 pm to 6 pm. Arrived and was told the special is actually after 6 and we could not get it. Ordered 3 tacos anyway and showed the waitress when the bill came how it is on the website’s menu for 3-6pm. Immediately she started to backpedal and knew it was available at the time and then said how she didn’t think my boyfriend wanted “the small pub tacos” even though he asked for 3 of them. Lol and obviously did not offer to change the bill. anyway so instead of 3 pub tacos for 6$ we ended up paying 12$ for… you guessed it, pub tacos. Won’t be back.

Delightful and friendly service. The staff where so welcoming. The food was scrumptious. I am surprised that the score for this place is listed only as a 4.1 stars when I found much better.
I had the shrimp sopa and it was delish. A perfect soup and appetizers that was delicately seasoned and the shrimp was prepared correctly- seared prior to inclusion into the soup . I also had a seared steak salad which was flavorful and well balanced. My co- diner had enchiladas and these were skillful prepared. The only thing I can say about his dinner was the presentation, but otherwise, all in all, a moderately priced yet delicious dinner!! Please give them a try if you haven’t dined there yet.

The food lacked a significant amount of flavor!! This is not an authentic Mexican restaurant! I ordered the house guacamole which also had no taste! two steak tacos and a shrimp taco the food was extremely dry and overcooked. $30 dollars for this tasteless dry food is highly disappointing. Either serve authentic flavorful Mexican food or shut down!!!!!

At least I tried it. Look, I get the times have changed, but when you are going to charge me almost $18 for a burrito, at least fill it up!!! I went today, first time, very quiet atmosphere but i get Monday and early afternoon.
I ordered the chorizo burrito, “their big one”…barely any chorizo was in it and the flavor was far from great and more like hamburger/taco meat with a sauce – which, trade secret to those of you not familiar with mexican cuisine…chorizo is not cow..
I was told there was sour cream and guacamole in it…I only saw and tasted sour cream..I would have preferred refried beans over pinto, but it wasnt too bad.
After that, just a blur. As I said oreviously andthis goes for all restaurants, if you expect me to pay almost $20 for a big burrito, burger, pizza pie, gyro, etc etc, I expect it to be, well, big, or of solid quality …not your version of big or quality! Because while this burrito had fillers to make it big when wrapped up, it noticeably lacked in flavor, and small portion fillers and some fillers missing.
The habanero sauce too was nothing worthy of writing home about. All in all, if you want a good chorizo burrito, and habanero sauce, I recommend Señor Taco on Park blvd; because unfortunately this restaurant falls under the tex-mex category at best. I’m going to skip returning.

This is genuinely so hard for me to say because I hate giving bad reviews but our experience was terrible. The salsa was the only highlight. Service was slow when it was very dead, prices were insane. The $15 skinny marg claimed to be made with lime and agave but was most definitely a premade mix along with the $10 michelada. The enchiladas were an absolute joke (pretty sure microwaved and topped with the same exact salsa served with the chips as the “rojo” sauce) The carnitas weren’t even shredded. Maybe it’s because I’m half Mexican from Houston but the whole place felt like a scam.
