The owner of this store wont be satisfied until they have a lawsuit. There is always a problem with the quality of the food & customer service at this location! I purchased food from McDonald’s and received extremely poor-quality items. The double cheeseburgers were smashed, poorly made, covered in melted cheese on the outside, and tasted old as if they had been sitting. I placed my order right when lunch began at 11:00 AM, so the food should have been fresh. I will be filing a complaint with the better business bureau! I attempted to resolve this with the store/app support, but I did not receive proper assistance.

Trying to figure out why McDonald’s in Tarboro is showing open 24/7. Let me place a mobile order charged my card and when I arrive to pick up my food employees hid inside and would not come to the speaker or any of the windows. If you’re closed great! Update the website and don’t charge my card for food I can not receive. This McDonald’s has been a mess for years I do not know why I keep trying at this point.

Ordered curbside pickup and waited 20 min before i went inside to see what was going on. turns out my food had been sitting on the counter the entire time. i understand being short staff and busy but to leave a bag sitting out and no one notice is crazy. also it took a while for anyone to come up front to help. one of the workers remade my order which i was thankful for but i didn’t receive my 2 diet cokes i paid for and the patties on my burgers were burnt. I hate hate complaining or seeming like a karen but that had to be the worst experience ive ever had at a fast food restaurant. i know a lot of people have bad experiences here as well and this isn’t my first bad experience here. whoever the owner of this establishment is does not care how his/her business is ran.

I just waited for 50 minutes to receive half my order. It was at 45 minutes the manager told me that I had been refunded for my 13 tote of cookies due to them not having any ready. At this point I was furious and as I walked out of the door I got a sarcastic (have a nice night) followed by a bunch of laughter. I have never been treated with this much disrespect from any fastfood facility , and being on the road 150,000 miles for the past 7 years you best believe I have encountered some poorly ran fastfood facilitys. Now that I have delt with the entire staff of Tarboro Nc McDonald’s on November 3 from 7 to 7:50 pm you all need retraining and your pay evaluated to match your performance it was a disaster .

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!!! DO NOT STOP HERE!
All of our 10 pc nuggets had 8 pieces. Our Iced Black Coffee tasted like water. I believe they use the same grounds or don’t put enough. We dumped it out, so gross!
Paid extra for 2 shots espresso in a latte that came out as a cup of milk with zero coffee. They didn’t give us the 20pc nugget in our bag and when we asked they were weird about it then one lady brings the bag back saying IT WASNT MY FAULT! Umm ok.
The place is so gross. The staff is so miserable. They clearly can’t count and do not care! The fries were old, cold, and soggy. I watched them screw up so many orders, let bags sit on the counter then take them back bc no one picked them up. This place needs an overhaul in ownership and management as well as staff. McDonalds/fast food or not THIS PLACE IS AN OVERALL DUMP and a disgrace to the franchise! We literally got back to the car and were missing most the order or had to throw much of it all away bc it was disgusting!

My wife and i stoped in the Tarboro location 9/28/25 5:15 pm walked in to place an order stood at the register for quite some time waiting with employees just looking at us and walking the other way than one of them started a conversation with a guy cooked a stated (They didnt want to help them white people) i will never ever go to another McDonald’s completely uncalled for and think the whole staff should be fired. For the reactions. And of course i left without ordering and spent my money elsewhere.

the management and all the staff needs to be fired, they were unprofessional and all have nasty attitudes and unorganized today waited for a coffee for 30 mins, every other customer always gets there order before me don’t know if they are Prejudice or what. the wait times are ridiculous, spend ur money elsewhere!

Order at kiosk, total was 9.79, card reader broken, went to counter to order same thing total was 11.70. I questioned what was going on and a manager was dismissive of my concerns and a bit rude with” I don’t know about all that” haven’t eaten at McDonald’s for a few years because of similiar situations at other stores. Very bad attitude from management. Think I will try again in a few more years.
