The pizza was hot, fresh, and delicious!!!! First time in Richmond and we stopped here and so glad we did. The staff welcomed us with a cool vibe and pizza slices were huge and tasted so fresh! Ordered an Italian sausage and a Garlic mushroom slice!

The best thing about Ventano’s is the deal you get when you go in. A large slice of here is equivalent to about 2 on a standard large or XL and the price is awesome in this day and age. I think a slice of cheese aka 2 slices anywhere else is like 5 dollars and if you want pepperoni it’s 6. Then every month they have a couple of specials which are like $6.50 for a giant slice, enough to hold you over for like five or six hours (at least in my case). So whenever you are hungry and don’t want to spend a fortune on a snack, Benny Ventano’s is the place to come.

Recommended by locals and it didn’t disappoint. NY style slices were huge. Thin crust and tasty. Only things I would recommend are that the end crust be more airy and I didn’t like the sliced Italian sausage. I like it round or crumbled. Felt like it had too much dough but it was still delicious.

The slices of pizza were pretty big however there was more sauce and dough than cheese and that was after I sent it back for extra cheese it definitely could have been topped better the overall taste was ok if you like giant bread stick filled with marinara

Perhaps due to closing time being in 2 hours is the reason for my pizza being hard, un chewable and cold. 3 stars for size of the pizza and cost per slice, which was reasonable. I’ll try again another day because I wasn’t impressed, could’ve went to dominos and probably would’ve been satisfied

Great pizza!
Atmosphere was very rustic and nice. The service was excellent and the people working behind the counter were super nice and accommodating.
The pizza slices were very large but that didn’t take away the flavor. We ordered the sausage and garlic mushroom pizzas. Tasted excellent!
Would definitely recommend this nice hole in the wall location to satisfy your pizza desires in a great location in Richmond.

Stopped by after hanging out at Bingo Beer for a late night slice. I was glad they sell by the slice and had a lot of variety besides cheese or pepperoni.
I got a slice of the Italian sliced sausage. While chatting with the guy making the pizza, I didn’t notice how big these things were until I got back to the hotel and opened up the box.
The pizza was super thin but super crispy. The crust was fire! Everything about this slice of pizza was perfect. If I didn’t live in Nova, I would be here all the time. I liked it so much, I am bringing back a whole pie for my family when I head back home. I would seriously consider traveling back here just for a slice of this pizza.

This place has been on my bucket list for a while. I called the location to make sure they were open before stopping by because my boyfriend and I wanted a quick snack/lunch before our dinner reservations a few hours later. We got our slices cooked well done, and added garlic, cheese, and red pepper flakes. The slices here are huge and you really only need one maybe 2 if you’re really hungry. My boyfriend is from NY and loved it and said the pizza reminded him of a New York slice.

Came here twice now. Pizza really is awesome. I’ve ordered a full pie in the past, and also by the slice. The massive size per slice isn’t a gimmick, as one slice is easily enough for a full meal; so the price is actually very reasonable. I did try a specialty slice, I think it was garlic and mushroom, which wasn’t bad, but I think their cheese pizza is still the best. Highly recommend coming here, but the seating is very limited.
