This place was recommended to me by a coworker and it’s alright. The food was good, but the place felt cheap – styrofoam plates, plastic utensils and cups.. I can’t attest to the drinks and whether they are expensive, but I feel the food was well priced for the quality and atmosphere. Given the expectation, I would probably dine here again. I was told it was a dine-in restaurant, similar to Chilis and the Glass Lounge, and that’s very untrue. If you know it’s primarily a bar with food, you’ll be good.
Def get the meatballs – they were delicious!!

We went for supper Saturday night. It was packed. The food was very good and the portions were very generous. Service was a little slow, but again, it was packed. The four of us ate for around $80. Burgers were huge. Nachos were overflowing the plate. Soft pretzels weren’t as soft as I like, but otherwise a great experience. Will definitely go back.

Great location with a nice view of the river. Was disappointed in the lack of flavor choices for wings. We got a few burgers and always order medium rare because most places over cook them. These three were overcooked slightly between medium and well. Fortunately the flavor was very good so that made up for the over cook. Toppings on the burger were slim, but fresh. Service was excellent and beer was cold. We were on patio which is covered and very nice. The inside has a big bar that’s pretty cool. Overall will visit again.

While vacationing in PA, I had the pleasure of dining at Boro Bar & Grill, and I can’t recommend it enough! Nestled right by the river, this gem offers not only delicious food but also stunning views that make for a perfect dining experience, especially during sunset.
Now, let’s talk food, specifically the wings. Everything I had was good, but the wings really stand out! With so many sauces and rubs to choose from, these are a MUST HAVE when coming here. I dare say they may be the best wings I’ve ever had in PA.
Overall, Boro Bar & Grill is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy great food in a picturesque setting with a fun, local, dive/sports bar vibe. I can’t wait to go back! @fairfieldfooddude

We were tired. Didn’t want to cook. Food was okay – serviceable Bar food. Burgers, fried stuff. Salad from a bag. Decent beer list. Waitstaff made a nice beer recommendation which turned out to be a delicious porter. Overall the Boro did what we needed to do. Provide a perfectly fine dinner without having to make it ourselves. And sometimes that is just what you need!

Stopped in here for the first time (around 4pm on a Thursday) Had a crab soup special and taco salad. Food was great. Service was great. Very chill sports bar and restaurant. Not too busy (but it’s early yet). Awesome view of the Susquehanna River with plenty of seating and an outdoor eating area for all weather. I’m going to bring my family here sometime for dinner.

Went to eat there for the first time and they turned us away because they couldn’t get us a low table so a high chair could sit at it. For reference the entire dining room was open with low tables. Very disappointing. Do not go here if you have children that need a high chair. You will be turned away. Instead we are going to center street grille in enola for wings who already has a table for us and is child friendly.

Amazing experience. The waitress actually waited while we were in prayer before we ate. So incredibly respectful to peoples’ privacy and family moments. Our son was so comfortable with the environment and we enjoyed the patio. He even did the math for the tip for the waitress and worked it all out for her. It was the cutest thing ever and filled us all with joy. The people matter every bit as much as the food. The food was great but the service was so good we forgot about the food because we were busy living in the moments.

We waited over 40 minutes after being seated, and not a single waiter or waitress came over to take our order, offer drinks, or even acknowledge us. We tried to be patient, but it became clear that the staff was serving other tables that were seated after us while completely ignoring ours. It was very frustrating and disappointing, especially since we were really looking forward to eating here. After waiting that long with no service whatsoever, we ended up leaving. Definitely not the kind of experience we expected, and it left a bad impression.

The food is bar food, and with that said, it was done great. We were there as it was getting busy for lunch. Staff was nice, no issues. Cool little spot, go check it out.
