My first time eating here with a friend. I was very surprised by this restaurant. The lunch buffet was good ol Southern cooking!! I loved the fried chicken, pork tenderloin, and the mashed potatoes and peas were scrumptious. I’ll definitely stop by next time I’m in Cadiz. They do have a smoking section when you walk in; however, it didn’t bother me in the least. I couldn’t smell the smoke in the section we sat in. It is a great gem. Prices are very reasonable.

First time to eat at this restaurant passing through from KY back home to Nashville.
We had our family & Grandkids with us.
The buffet was good but some things we didn’t care for.
Fried Chicken was great, fish was great and crispy, salad bar good, mashed potatoes good.
Didn’t care for the grilled pork chops too smokey & dry….maybe fry those as a suggestion?
Some kinda of ham not sure what it was not good.
Kids should have ordered off the menu but got the buffet they only liked the Fried chicken.
Overall the service from waitresses & checkout were very friendly!
Price was really responsible 10.00 for buffet.
We’ll try to order from the menu next time.

I love Cadiz Restaurant.
I have been going there for around 40 years and every time I’ve been the food and service is always great.
One of the things that I really love about it is that it’s a privately owned, old fashion, hometown diner that has a buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner and they always have good country cookin with all the fixings.

This well-warn little local joint was surprising in several ways. There’s an unassuming charm as you walk back in time. We were shocked that there was a smoking section & we accidentally sat in there. Thankfully, we were there at an “off” time & didn’t have to contend with smokers. I’d like to add that the ladies’ room was quite odd… there are 2 toilets and, though on opposite sides of a wall, there’s no curtain or door & the 1st is right behind the door. It’s very….unique, to say the least. Thankfully, I could lock the door & have it to myself..
It’s nothing fancy but the food is great!
It features a “country cooking” food bar. The vegetables were my absolute favorite & tasted like grandma was in the kitchen. The food is fantastic. The service was great. Everyone is quite friendly. We’d go back again & again.

Old school family restaurant in Cadiz, KY. Had a buffet but we opted for a western omelet. It was delicious. Perfect amount of filling and cheese. Place doesn’t look like much but food and service where great.

I grew up in a small town with a restaurant like this. Cocked to order breakfast. I bet lunch and dinner are great too. (A big rig can park next door if you make it quick )

Yum! My favorite style of fried chicken and at a buffet, yahoo! I’ll stop here every next time I drive through Cadiz.
Trip note: there is a smoking section and unfortunately you have to stand in it to pay. Maybe I just caught it when there were smokers – wouldn’t be bad other than the lingering smell right as you enter.
Wow – that used to be the norm!!

Visiting from out of town, and so glad we ran across this place! Our server was fabulous. The kids and my husband all got the buffet, which was full of all kinds of fantastic southern staples (skillet fried chicken, cooked greens, fried cornbread), and I had the patty melt, which I would definitely recommend.
We finished up with a slice of coconut cream pie that was obviously homemade – we’ve been fed plenty of store-bought restaurants pies this trip, but this one was the real deal.
A great local eatery!
