The service was great. The food was mostly good,coleslaw could use a little help. The atmosphere when we stopped the men’s restroom was closed down and the water in the women’s restroom barely ran. The restaurant itself was comfortable for a truck stop.

This is a place where ZERO stars are needed.. when I entered this restaurant, I sat myself, as I was waiting for my food you could hear this man in the kitchen cussing about dishes. Now, this place echos so every word he spoke, you can hear it crystal clear and loud.. when my food arrived; I tasted it and to be honest, I didn’t like it, it was totally bland so I told the waitress, she gladly put in something else for me. When she went back to the kitchen, you can hear her telling him that I said that it needed seasoning (which I did say), he HOLLERS “it needs seasoning” over and over again and then said, “if you want seasoning, go to Olive Garden!” That pissed me off and I normal don’t get mad but that was so disrespectful of him to say that and for it to literally ECHO the entire restaurant..
A place of business is as good as the management! There is no doubt in my mind that he has been complained about numerous times and nothing has been done because he is still there. The cooks name is Travis.
Management will be notified!
Being a trucker, when you stop for the night, you would want to come to a restaurant to relax, eat good food but this is not the place to do it if you’re here at night.. he will definitely disrupt your peace for sure!

I had the southwest scramble with a side of biscuit and gravy.Pretty good. Everything was hot and fresh.Service was friendly.

We stopped today after visiting Shatto Milk Company, we stopped hoping that we could just grab a bite to eat quick, after 15 mins the serve came over and stated that the soda machines were down as they didn’t have any carbonation, then we both ordered chicken alfredo and the cook then came over to us an hour later and said they didn’t have anymore alfredo noodles, no big deal just swap the noodles, however 20 mins later we received one alfredo and one spaghetti (not what we asked for) the spaghetti was full of water with some dried up noodles, the alfrado wasn’t bad but the bread was burnt and sauce was too watery. At the end of it she stated that we wouldn’t have to pay for the meal (we appreciate that and would’ve paid) however this took way too long and the food just wasn’t good. I would’ve rather ate at McDonald’s than there, we shouldn’t have had to wait an hour just to be told that they don’t have what we both asked for.
Please change your menu if you can’t keep a stock of what’s on your menu.

Me and my family went to lunch today, a little before noon. It was not busy and the sign said “Seat Yourself”. We sat in a far booth, as our toddler is a little extra from time to time, and didn’t wait too long before the waitress came to being menus and ask for our drinks order. The menu selection is pretty amazing for a little restaurant like this, or at least that’s how I feel, and they serve breakfast all day, so nobody can say they couldn’t find anything that they liked. Our toddler had french toast and bacon which was perfect for him. Bacon was cooked well and the french toast had containers on the side of some amazing whipped butter, powdered sugar and warm syrup. I had the spaghetti and meat sauce with a side salad and texas toast. I am very picky on my pasta, but I was pleasantly impressed with the whole plate over all. The meat sauce was flavorful, but not over seasoned so it tasted more like chilly than pasta sauce, the noodles were cooked correctly so they weren’t squishy or too mushy to allow for you to twirl them on your fork. It was a pretty large plate, which doesn’t bother me, but it was so delicious I had to finish my plate. My husband had the pork chops with a side salad, baked potato and dinner roll. He got the whipped butter for both his roll and potato, as well as got two containers of sour cream. The pork chops were thin, but not lacking in juiciness. If I was feeling “porky”, I would have to say the dish of choice would be those pork chops. I was so full with my meal that I didn’t actually try the pork chops, but my husband ate every bite, so they had to be good. Our waitress was very friendly and checked on us enough to not be annoying, but enough to make sure we were taken care of. Great service and tge price was well worth it. If you are in the area or just passing through, I would recommend stopping in for whatever meal is called for at that time of day.

Have stopped in this restaurant several times before and never had any problems til tonight. Waitress with neck tattoo acted like she didnt want to be at work, and barely checked on us or other customers. No condiments or straws were offered for our food and drinks. Getting a refill was like pulling teeth. Too busy in the back having inappropriate conversations with other staff. Evening cook was extremely loud and definently not creating a ‘family friendly’ atmosphere. Food was decent for the price. Diced onions could’ve been diced smaller. Might come back sometime eralier in the day and see if my experience is better.

Finally took a minute to stop in since the restaurant went through a total rebuild…
Nice job guys! The new setup looks great, nice and open, looks sparking clean and decorated well without overwhelming us.
I had a hard time finding the “lunch menu” but that’s hardly a problem as there are plenty of choices.
The salad bar looked decent but I had to try the Ruben. It was good, the “sidewinder” fries look to be hand made and were also good.
I’m going to have to come back and try out the bar area, looks great!

Stopped by for breakfast. It was not busy at all at 10:00 am. They were setting up what looked to be a good salad bar. The food was ok. The staff was friendly.
