Okay, so here goes.
You all know by know I am not a good snob, so be aware this is not a big money, super high class place.
It’s a very good find for me.
Drinks good, and priced fairly
Food, same.
Chips and salsa very good. Fresh chips, salsa with taste and spice. A rare restaurant combination
Guacamole was super, served with pork rinds instead of chips. Fantastic touch.
Carne asada served correctly, good taste. Carnitas were out of this world different. Superb tasting sauce, I’m so used to a much drier version.
No desserts, just a definite try this if you’re in San Pedro.

First time here and we had an awesome experience. The food is delicious, especially the Albóndigas Soup.. OMG I could not get enough of it, it has now become 1 of my top 10 soups. The atmosphere was quiet but vibrant. This is now going to be on our top 20 places when we are in town.

Had lunch the day before our cruise. Very happy with my dish, which was baked nachos thing… name escapes me. But the star to me was their handmade salsa that’s just the right spiciness and there’s greasy salty chips. Definitely would come back again my next trip to Long Beach/San Pedro.

Get the Carnitas. Everything is good, but the carnitas blew us away! Loved their margarita flights, and the atmosphere was fun! Would highly recommend!!

Really nice restaurant! We chose to sit outside, so I’m basing this off of that but overall the experience was super pleasant! The service wasn’t slow. I felt comfortable and of course the food was so good!!! Highly recommend if you wanna pretty much quick delicious meal!

I don’t get the low average score on TripAdvisor. Google’s score more accurately reflects my experience. I’m highly critical on Mexican restaurants, and this one was darn good. Carne asada tacos could not have been better. Meet with seasoned and cooked perfection, not overcooked, not dry. Portion size for two tacos was enormous. Ceviche also quite good. My only complaint about the ceviche, I asked the waiter if it was a small portion and he said yes. It was easily enough for two people. Chips and salsa were plentiful and quite tasty. Service met expectations did not exceed. Price was a little high, but given the location I can’t complain. My only major criticism, and I’m not going to take off a point for it, is the weird bathroom. The entire men’s room is completely wallpapered with plastic thick greenery. This is the least sanitary thing you could do in a bathroom – – correction, they could use shag carpeting on the floor. That would be worse.

Positives: the drinks were fantastic! Every margarita I tried was delicious. I came here with the intention to drink, and I loved all the drinks I tried. The atmosphere is nice, I love the outdoor seating. The service was great, had a very attentive & friendly waiter.
Sadly, the food was sooo disappointing. I only tried 2 things, so I can’t say it’s all bad, but it is definitely not Mexican. It is a mild American version of Mexican food, and the flavor just wasn’t there. The beans tasted canned, the sauces needed spices, and the salmon taco was sooo tiny and bland.
Overall, I’d definitely go back for drinks alone. The service is great, and it’s a beautiful location. I’d give 5 stars to that alone… just 1 star for the food.
