My interaction with Shanetra, who identified herself as a manager, was deeply disappointing and frankly concerning. I visit this location often as I live nearby and after this incident. I will not be back.
When I brought up an issue with my order, Shanetra responded with immediate defensiveness and argument rather than listening or attempting to resolve the situation. There was no ownership, no solution offered, and no effort to provide even basic courtesy.
During the conversation, she abruptly shut the drive-thru window in the middle of me speaking. That action alone speaks volumes about the level of professionalism being exercised in a leadership role.
Management positions require composure, accountability, and the ability to handle concerns without escalating tension. Instead, I was made to feel like an inconvenience for expecting the correct order and respectful treatment.
If this is the standard of management at this location, it raises serious questions about training and oversight. Customer concerns should never be dismissed, and respectful communication should not be optional.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously and addressed appropriately.
I will be reporting this “manager” to corporate.

My order was wrong after double checking triple checking quadrupling checking and everything on the screen looked correct and then I was driving off I noticed something was like added got to the window I said I’m only getting one soda right he says yes I pulled up after paying for my order and the lady hands me two sodas and I said I only ordered one soda and I haven’t verified it with him but the other window she says oh well it already poured out too so you want both of them and I said well yeah I paid for it. And it was a waste of everything because the sodas tasted nasty didn’t even taste like soda so good luck stopping at this one

Food is good, typical McDonald’s meal. Service is h I thoroughly miss, though it’s as expected being that this location sits right as a VERY busy rest area off of Insterstate 10. Drive through is much quicker, but depending on the time of day inside is not too bad.

Don’t waste your money, get something from the loves instead of ordering here. Store wasn’t very clean, service was slow and food was cold. I’m a trucker and already left the parking lot before discovering food was stone cold less than 5 mins after receiving order, both burger and fries. Called store and was told they could do nothing unless I turned around and came back to store and was told to submit for a refund on the app, which is not possible. Friendliness and efficiency made for a lovely stop. The woman at the register kept everything moving, chatting with customers with humor. The guy making our lattes was fast and also friendly. Yummy lattes. All customers were happy.
PROBLEM: There’s only one exit out of the Love’s truck stop, and my husband vowed never to come back because we had so much trouble getting out.

I don’t tend to leave McDonald Reviews.. however, the crew we had was wonderful. Enough to make a point to log in and comment. There was a slight issue with our order and it took a little extra time and they were so sweet with us while not neglecting any other customers. They made us feel happy and they gave us a nice break from the road. I sure hope that corporate sees this – the crew is There about five minutes ago so that was about 7:30 PM central time on September 20, 2024

Went through drive thru and first the girl taking our order either a. Was new as can be or b. Is just not got any common sense but I’m not sure which.
They took almost 20 mins from ordering to food pick up (we were the only ones in line in drive that whole time).
The food was mediocre at best and as I said they are alright if you just that desperate but co.e on if you seriously want McDonald’s then at least hit the one in Defuniak off 331 S.

Service here was pretty fast with the amount of customers here. Everything was fresh. The smokey BLT quarter pounder wasn’t available due to no sauce so I just requested ketchup. Crispy nuggets and delicious fries.

Ordered at kiosk, crispy chicken deluxe-bun was burnt and chicken covered only half the bun. Bf ordered the same- his deluxe was an inch over the bun in all directions. Guess you win some … you lose some. Fries were fresh and hot, so that was good.
3 Strawberry pies, two were not cooked all the way and were doughy. One was cooked perfectly.
Caramel sundae was good though.

I often come to this McDonald’s, not because it is the best McDonald’s but because it is the closest one. The burgers are nearly always pink in the middle, they barley give any sauce and the last time I ordered McFlurrys to try, the new employee at the window was rude and the McFlurry was only filled halfway. When bringing it up she said “ what do you want me to do about it”. The last time I went I received a burger that had both buns facing backwards. When getting the McFlurrys they don’t add much toppings and it is never mixed. Half the time the ice cream machine is down so I don’t recommend even asking for it. The mcchicken are made sloppy. The mayo is always hanging off the bread so I have to personally grab something to actually put it on my sandwich. I don’t really have that many good experiences at this McDonald’s so I wouldn’t recommend it.
