We enjoyed having breakfast at the Airline Highway Waffle House. The atmosphere was good but not as orderly as it might have been. The food was very good we shared an Allstar breakfast which was great. The service was very good both friendly and attentive.

The lady working tonight had the worst attitude ever. I ordered one 2-pork plate, and she charged me for two. I know I said it correctly — I used to work at Waffle House, so I know how orders are supposed to go. My total came out to $31, and when I asked why it was so high, she got an attitude and tried to tell me I said it wrong. No ma’am, even if that were true, you should’ve confirmed the order before ringing it up.
Then she said my food will take 20 minutes, and there is only two cars in the parking lot. When I dine in and order, it never takes that long. Completely unacceptable service tonight.

This Waffle House had the best cooked meal of any Waffle House I have had the pleasure of eating at in a long time. Everything was perfectly cooked. My biscuit was crispy but not burnt. My eggs were fluffy and not rubbery. Apparently she’s their weekday cook if you’re trying to catch her!
Service was good as well.
I never review things but the food here was so exceptionally well cooked that I had to learn how!

They’re not nearly as attentive as the staff at other Waffle House restaurants I’ve been to. Examples include the waffle was served without butter. The hash browns were served without ketchup. I had to ask for coffee 3 times and am still waiting. Still, it’s a good value and the food is good.

I will not recommended this Waffle House. The utensils were very nasty, atmosphere was nasty, and the employees were very rude and nasty. One of our waffles had hair on top of the waffles. Our utensils had food residue left on it, like they weren’t washed and sanitized. Our cups had food residue inside and outside of our cups. The food was burnt . One of their employees wanted to start an altercation and fight because we mentioned to one of their managers that overall the place was nasty and unsanitary for us and our kids. We mentioned to one of their managers that our kids couldn’t eat here like this…with served bad food and nasty utensils and cups. Overall, the place was a DISGRACE!!! I will never recommend anyone to eat there local or visiting.

Service was okay. Acted kind of spacey if you ask me. The place looked okay, just old. The food was alright. The grits were good, the bacon was salty, the eggs were runny and the waffle was undercooked. I would avoid this place if possible.
