When we arrived, there were four parties ahead of us, and it took about 20 minutes to get seated. Once seated, we were promptly served drinks, and our food arrived about 15 minutes after ordering. I had the Big Bear Club, while my friend tried the beef dip—it was her first time trying it, but it wasn’t really to her taste. We also shared a side of fries. The Big Bear Club was delicious, and the portion was generous, I could only finish half and took the rest to go. I’ll definitely be back to try other items on the menu!

The food was so good. Was just driving around the parking lot and randomly spotted this gem. Customer service was great. The room was a little warm but not uncomfortable. The onion rings with ranch were some of the best I’ve ever had.

Delicious pastrami sandwich!! Perfect for after our paddle board ride over the lake! The meat was lean and piled up! Was recommended to us by a local at Pleasure Point Marina, it is the best sandwiches in Big Bear ! We featured our full adventure on Youtube at our channel @hikebytes.

Such a cool cafe – A hole in the wall type place with awesome diner vibes. Had about a 30 minute wait on New Year’s Eve for a party of 6 at lunch time and it was worth it. They were quick to take our order and food came out fast. Everything we ordered was delicious! We got the Snowbunny on squaw, Country Burger, Red White and Blue Waffles, and the Eggs Your Way. Definitely suggest for anyone including families with kids!

It was a bit snug, and a little bit warm because it wasn’t much ventilation other than that it was a pretty nice place. We’ll return here during our winter trip in 2025.

So glad we stopped at Mountain Munchies during our trip to Big Bear Lake! First off, the onion rings were amazing. I’m pretty picky with onion rings because I feel like so many places undercook them, but these were perfectly crisp! I got the Hungry Bear Club, and fair warning it’s massive, but so so good. The sourdough bread tasted so fresh and the waitress was very helpful with all her recommendations. 10/10 would go again!

Fantastic restaurant with a variety of dishes to choose from. This little “hole-in-the-wall” restaurant serves up quite a meal and the staff make you feel like you are welcome. Special kudos to Jay, our server today, who was friendly and very attentive to our needs. Located in a small shopping center, you need to look twice to even find the front door, but oh, will you be happy that you did. The food was plentiful and extremely tasty, we simply loved it. We had both the turkey and meatloaf dinners, and the serving portions were very large, and we had to take at least half of each meal to go since there was no way we could finish it all. Just remember if you come here to dine to bring a big appetite, because you are going to need it. Great food, great people and a good old down-to-earth atmosphere. There is plenty of parking right out in front of the restaurant so that should never be a problem.

We loved this place so much we ate here twice during our Big Bear weekend. The huge portions and healthy options were perfect after long hikes. The Deluxe Mountain Hi Salad with chicken salad was my favorite and I got two meals out of it. It was ideal for takeout to our Airbnb. Great find for a casual lunch.
