Went here to watch the super bowl and it was great! The enormous screen meant every person could see everything. This place is several in one, with a few different bars on different levels. It was packed (of course), but they were very well organized and staffed appropriately. It was obvious this wasn’t their first time!

My family and I love coming here! Pictured is their breakfast taco, ribeye steak breakfast plate, and chicken tenders with seasons fries. There is never a wait & the price is great too! They also have karaoke in the evening and huge TVs for your sports needs.

The food was delicious, if you are craving Seafood and your here in Texas, it’s mandatory that you have to come to Kraken for combo fish and prawn chips, the fish was soft completely fully fried and the batter is plain with no spices or whatsoever but you can add that hot tapatio hot sauce and it comes with tater sauce, slice of fresh lemon and coleslaw the fries were way better then any other fries at other seafood bar and grill, as well as the atmosphere is cool, chill and much more like sporty place where you can come and enjoy with friends and family to watch the game or just chill and have some beer, the service was very good our waitress was very helpful during our time there as well as helpful with what we would wanna eat like a special platter or something like that. The only problem we faced was the entrance. The front entrance is closed. For some reason, you have to enter at the door where it’s written THE ARENA. They have 2 main entrance doors, one on the main road on top of the little ramp and the next one in the rear, cool place and one of the best seafood restaurants after Seafood in Seattle Washington, no offense haha.

We loved the pretzel! We had to order another one! Service was wonderful! Very casual, open seating, & near the water. The medium size nachos were good but more like large or extra large, big portions! Lots of screen with sports on so if you’re into that that’s plentiful here.

Worst service ever. If I could rate this a negative star, I would. We called on Monday to reserve an area to watch the Bills’ game for the playoffs and they said we just needed to be there early, no reservation needed. We arrived an hourly early, sat comfortably, & set up our Bills’ gear. An hour there drinking our beer and a waitress comes over to tell us our table was reserved and needed to move. AN HOUR SITTING THERE! How was our table reserved if they didn’t take reservations on Monday when I called! NEVER AGAIN WILL WE STEP FOOT IN THIS PLACE! And the owner is a Bills’ fan, what a way to treat Bills’ fans.

From the outside this place looks like a usual bar that also serves food. And thinking that it was just a bar, we never thought that they would have breakfast. One day they had a big sign outside about the breakfast. So we stopped. We enjoyed the variety offered on the menu as well as the reasonable prices. We have been back for breakfast 3 times!

My husband and I stopped here for dinner on Saturday, December 27th. We went upstairs so we could watch the football games. There were 2 other couples at tables and a couple of men at the bar. We had to go to the bar to order our drinks after waiting and watching the waitress/bartender walk by us at least twice. She seemed to be more interested in the two men at the bar than anybody else upstairs. We waited for her to come to our table to take our order for food and again we flagged her down as she was walking by. We continued to wait and after 30 minutes, my husband went up to the bar to find a new bartender, and our order had never been placed. We decided enough is enough and left $10 at the table for our drinks and left. As we were in the parking lot, the bartender came down to tell us we didn’t pay our tab and didn’t even notice that we left cash on the table. In the meantime, one of the men that was at the bar was leaning over the patio saying nasty things to us.
I have heard really good things about this place and seen good reviews about them on the South Padre Island concierge Facebook page. Pretty sad that we did not have that great experience or customer service. We will never go to this establishment again, nor would we recommend them to anybody.

The lunch specials are a great value. Large portions and great flavor. The burgers are 1/2 lb and very well seasoned. Be aware, the tip is included for parties of 5 or more.
