I have been getting carryout for years from grandma‘s. My two favorites are the Swedish extravaganza pancakes, and their eggs Benedict but I don’t know what happened today was not my day. I ordered my eggs Benedict with a side order of supposedly country ham I was shocked when I got home and started eating, but first of all I wanted to see how good my country ham would be and as soon as I opened it, I knew it wasn’t country! The ham was moist with juices in the container in country ham is a dry cured ham and didn’t even look like country ham it looked like a regular thin slice of ham And it was, $5.99 for fake Country ham. I thought one of my old-time favorites would be great. My eggs, Benedict another shocking experience eggs were cooked well done there wasn’t enough hollandaise sauce to make up for the dry eggs.

Always enjoy having a meal here, especially breakfast. In my opinion, they have the best hashbrowns/fried potatoes in our area. The server was very pleasant and helpful. Our food was brought out in a timely manner and was very good.
My only request would be for them to have a zero sugar cola option. Many of us are trying to watch calories, and I would think the diabetic customers would appreciate it too. They do have diet cola options, but if you’re a zero sugar fan, you know the diet colas don’t taste as good!

Like a step back in time, we loved this little place. It felt just like a grandma’s diner and they really do double the eggs, which tasted amazing. The service was very friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend.

This place, alongside Saylor’s Pizza in South Bend, had me realizing that I do actually care about the service. Good service here, for the record. My usual criteria—tasty food & big servings—were also satisfied. My batting accuracy with pancake places is a 1.0 so far. It did cost me fifteen bucks, but I also walked away with leftovers, so ♀️ you get what you pay for xd
I ordered a fritta, which turns out to be this strange layered stack of hash brown + beef + egg. Good, though next time I should remember to ask for my egg to be fried, and also that I should get something without cheese or sour cream because I’m lactose intolerant.
4.5/5 rounded up

The food was very tasty. The scrambled eggs were a personal favorite. Seating was kind of cramped and service was good just a little slow. Overall it was a nice experience and we will be excited to return!

Sharon was our waitress. Friendly, and everything came out on time. The clam chowder was comforting on such a cold day. Our coffee was hot, and delicious and we were asked if we wanted it to be topped off several times. Gramma’s is a great comfortable restaurant. Ask for Sharon. She was a great server.

Grandma’s is great, everything you want in a breakfast/brunch place. They have a big menu with plenty of options and tasty rotating specials. The servers will keep your coffee topped up, and you get exactly what you ordered every time. Whatever you get, do yourself a favor and get a waffle with it! Heads up, egg count is doubled, so on the menu it may say 2 eggs, but you’ll get 4!
Note, it’s an older building so the bathrooms smell a bit, but imo that’s part of the character!

We came with a large party of 20 people and the place was super busy but we all got our food in a timely manner and everything was perfect as we ordered it! Was super impressed with the staff and our waitress Maria did an exceptional job. We will definitely be back again soon!

Sat us down rite away. Heck the Hostess held the door open for us today. Nice and courteous people working there. Plenty of seating available.
