Jonny was a nice waiter who is bilingual in English and Chinese. He served us well.
We ordered:
– 1 lb king crab. We could tell the king crab was very fresh and tender, we barely used the tool to get the crab meat in whole pieces.
– 0.5 lb shrimp without head
– Combinations of mussel and clam.
– Medium hot. Tasted hotter than expected.
– Calamari. Very tender. The sauce is terrific.
The purple potatoes are so fresh and of the best quality. We wouldn’t want to waste a single one had we not ordered too much.
We feel all food is of top quality, even the shell opening tools, just like their name.
Definitely will come again next time.
Also the vibe and environment are impeccable! It’s clean, and ocean themed.
And the staff? So kind and welcoming. They made the whole experience even better.
If you’re craving a good seafood boil, this spot is a must-try.
Okay first of all — before we even talk about the food — Crafty Crab has a literal Hummer with a giant fish mounted on top of it inside the restaurant. I have absolutely no idea how they got it in there, and honestly that mystery alone is worth a visit. It’s epic. It sets the tone immediately: this place is bold, over-the-top, and all about seafood energy.
Now the food…
I started with the raw oysters — super fresh, clean, and exactly what you want when you’re craving oysters. No fishy taste, just smooth, briny goodness.
Then we got the “Not Enough Seafood” platter (which is ironically named because it was MORE than enough). Clams, mussels, shrimp, crab legs, crawfish — and we added sausage. Everything was cooked perfectly. The seafood was fresh, the portions were generous, and that garlic butter seasoning? Unreal. Hands down some of the best seasoning I’ve ever had on a seafood boil. It soaked into everything perfectly.
And I need to talk about dessert.
The key lime pie is legitimately the best I’ve had in Florida. I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s surprisingly better than key lime pie I’ve had in Key West. Perfect balance of tart and sweet, smooth texture, not overly heavy. Absolute knockout.
Between the wild Hummer display, the ridiculously good seafood, and the best key lime pie around — this might be the best seafood platter experience I’ve had.
10/10. I’ll be back.
