Excellent! Excellent. Excellent experience the hostess was very polite and informative upon seating us. Our table was next to the fireplace in one of the rooms upstairs such beautiful architecture. Tony, our waiter was extremely polite and knowledgeable of everything on the menu. He talked us into his favorite. The filet tips which was probably one of the best dinners I’ve ever had. The sauce was perfect and the filet melted in your mouth seriously.
Also the sticky toffee pudding delicious!!!!
We had the perfect early Valentines dinner.

I can’t thank the Elkridge Furnace Inn enough for hosting our beautiful October wedding. Naina (on-site wedding coordinator) is a miracle worker!

The venue is rustic, cozy, and romantic. Though all the “basics” are there already, there’s plenty of room to customize your day. We chose this venue in part because all the food is DELICIOUS and the chef can pretty much make anything you’d like. Also, it was so helpful not having to coordinate catering and dessert along with everything else. We also loved that there were lots of great spots of photos, both inside and outside. We ended up having to move our ceremony indoors due to some rain, but the indoor space is equally as lovely as the outside and everything ran smoothly with the rain plan.

If this space looks like a fit for you, I would highly recommend it! The pricing was very reasonable, too, compared to some other options in the area (especially compared to DC!).

This was my first time visiting this historic restaurant, and it was absolutely amazing! The staff was outstanding. Our host, Jason, has been working here—and with the chef—since he was just 15 years old, and his knowledge of the home’s rich history made the experience even more special. The chef personally came out to speak with us and even created a custom spicy sauce upon our request. The food, service, and atmosphere were all exceptional. I can’t wait to come back!

Spent a lovely afternoon at the Paris Tea event. You are greeted and welcomed from the moment you step onto the porch.

Tea and food pairings were done with intention and wonderful.

Both owners stopped by the tables.

Highly recommend

I attended I Love Paris Tea and left a bit disappointed. The service only included one cup of tea per course rather than a full pot, which felt limiting for a traditional tea experience. While the limited tea offering was underwhelming, the host focused more on personal updates and upcoming events than on the Paris theme, which took away from the overall ambiance. That said, the food was beautifully presented and truly delicious.

This is one of my favorite special occasion places to eat. Chef Dan not only prepares delicious and different meals but stops by to check on diners and share interesting stories about his past and the history of the Inn. For starters we had the Prime Tenderloin Carpaccio and Cider Braised Pork Belly. Two of us had the Delmonico Steak with crab cake and Potato & Root Vegetable Purée which was delicious. The steak was cooked perfect and the crab cake true to Maryland. But, the Tarte de Pommes desert was incredible.

A remarkable hidden gem. We had an outstanding meal at the end of a weekend here. Staff was lovely and the place is charming. Our 4 meals ranged widely across the menu and we also selected a couple seasonal appetizers (in our case one with figs and one with beets). All were excellent. Highly recommend.

We had a fantastic dinner at The Elkridge Furnace Inn and the service from Jason made the evening even better.

Jason was attentive from the moment we sat down—friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and perfectly paced throughout the entire meal. He made great recommendations and checked in at just the right times without ever being intrusive.

We started with the escargots, which were absolutely delicious—rich, flavorful, and served with perfectly toasted crostini. For the main course I went with the 6 oz filet, which was cooked exactly the way I asked and paired beautifully with the seasonal sides. My table also ordered the double crab cake, which was packed with jumbo lump crab and easily one of the best in Maryland.

Jason made the whole experience feel effortless. He was professional, personable, and clearly takes pride in providing great service. In a restaurant known for its incredible farm-to-table food, Jason elevated the entire experience.

Great food, beautiful setting, and outstanding service. We’ll definitely be back—and we’ll be back.

Perfect place for an anniversary, birthday, or date night, or any special occasion. The building has been around since 1744 and definitely provides a charming dining environment. The service team was top notch, anchored by our head server Dawson. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and helpful in providing recommendations. During the meal, we were visited by a manager and also chef Dan to ensure our experience was in line with their excellent standards (they were!) We visited on one of the last days of the spring menu and enjoyed all of our food. I personally recommend the crab cakes and the cookie butter cheesecake. I look forward to planning another date night to try other delicious options!

The food and service were excellent! Really enjoy that their seasonal menu and how approachable the new items can be. Recently celebrated a birthday and appreciated that the staff had a chocolate “happy birthday” on the cake for us!
