Tried stopping at a different Taco Casa last night… total disaster. But it had me craving it all day, so I swung by this location tonight — and man, I’m glad I did.
I’ve been coming here for a while, and it’s consistently great. The staff is always friendly, the place is spotless, and I honestly don’t think I’ve ever had a bad experience here.
Huge credit to whoever’s running this store and the team you’ve put together. You guys are absolutely killing it. Keep doing what you’re doing.

This is my favorite drive through in EST Texas. The women running the drive through is beyond friendly everytime. Repeats my order and is so great at the window! I went in today for lunch at 12:30 and I am telling you she turned my entire day around!

I’ve eaten here a few times and while the service and food are always great. The reason I can’t give any higher than a 1star is every time I have ever dined here while the manager named Candy is in the building the staff morale is so deplorable it makes it hard to even be inside the building.
The way she has spoken to numerous staff members is unacceptable. Picking anything real or in her imagination to berate them over where every one can see or hear it. Its unprofessional and makes the ability to eat your meal more awkward than having to explain why uncle Jim can’t come to family functions that have children under 18 at.
I really hope the staff understand that majority of the time they are doing a great job and delivering a wonderful experience when she is not there.

Really weird stuff! Our banks from prosperity doesn’t have our names cause they are printed at bank when issued. They are checking IDs and asking for signatures and phones numbers in receipts for orders over 35 and they have no explanation. Wth never have we had this happen anywhere else. It’s not tobacco products or alcohol just food. Bring cash if you respect your privacy it feels fishy and a scam. Have never had this happen at any other location. Very CREEPY!!! BE CAREFUL.

Went there on 10/05/25 and Eddie took our order and he was so professional & friendly and he showed us great customer service. 2nd time I’ve drove 30 minutes to get food from this place and ordered nachos ….. Only to get home and the toppings were left out of the bag. Somehow I ended up with 3 burritos when I only ordered one and some chips and cheese instead of nachos. No I won’t call or make that drive again. Last time they left the chips off the nachos and when I drove back and told them they acted like I was a chip thief and like I did something wrong. I’m mad I paid for this crap. I’m mad I drove there…. Just put the topping on top bcuz this reoccurring problems is ignorant and I’m tired of y’all making me pay for my food only to not receive said food. That’s stealing.

When I got home after my 30 minute drive and went to eat my chili burgers were not there.

I hadn’t tried Taco Casa in a few few years because I just remembered their tacos as pretty good. Moved out to Gun Barrel City and decided to try again. The tacos were fantastic. This time, I was so hungry I ate one bare in the truck on the way home. I got home and put a bit of Taco Casa hot sauce on my fingertip and realized it was their hot sauce that wasn’t for me and that’s OK (a lot of people love their hot sauce). I’m really happy I tried again, and now I’m addicted (tried last night, back for more today). As far as the Gun Barrel strore, I was impressed with the cleanliness and efficiency, but I was more pleased with their customer service. I think it is important that employees are made aware when they are providing excellent service. I was helped today by Dawn (general manager, but she served me at the register, and I didn’t know she was the manager until I asked for one). Dawn, Jessica (today), and Amanda (last night) were all professional, polite, moved with a sense of purpose, but all three ladies were very personable and respectful. You’re doing something really right with that store, and I hope you let these employees know they are doing an outstanding job and they are certainly an asset to your brand, company, and mission. I will definitely be adding Taco Casa (this store is now my “Home Store”) to my short list for when I’m hungry. My experience here was pleasant and I am a highly satisfied customer.
