We had the deep dish veggie pizza. It was so good! The crust was flaky and crispy, the sauce was flavorful and the cheese was melty. We’ll definitely be going again. Make sure to order ahead of time since the pie needs about an hour to bake.

Ordered through DoorDash app for pick up. Upon arrival the host couldn’t find my order. Waited about 5 minutes until she found it. I wish it would have stayed lost because it was old over fried or double friend wings. All 6 wings were like tough crackers.

On our way home from Detroit, back to Chicago, we decided to try one more Detroit style pizza. These guys were open early, and we were able to pick our pizza up for the ride home. We got a Detroit style cheese and bacon. It was excellent. This had a bit of a Chicago influence to it, especially the cheese and sauce. The crust was a bit thicker and had great flavor. This was my fiance’s favorite. I was never a fan of Jet’s, and that’s the only Detroit style I experienced back home in the Chicago area. PizzaPapalis definitely did not disappoint.

Sunday night 7:04 PM, Sat down with the family in an EMPTY lobby. Waited 30 MINS for a “fresh made” Detroit style and a Greek salad. After 30 mins, what we received was cheese and toppings on PRE-COOKED DOUGH. The pizza got cold as soon as I opened the box.
The salad was good.
They seem to get more take out customers than dine in. This place is empty for a reason.
I was in Detroit a few yrs ago and had an EXCELLENT experience at the Greektown but THIS IS NOT THAT.

Best pizza in Detroit! Toppings are always very fresh and the crust is absolutely delectable. Pizzas are cooked to perfection. The Chicago thin crust style is our absolute favorite. Always call ahead to place order. Fast & timely service. Great customer service.
