The restaurant is massive and welcoming, the staff is friendly and the most important part, the food, is great.
Now, I’ve only had the chorizo tacos, and they were MASSIVE. I can usually knock back 6 without any problem; I only made it through 3.5, so the value is great.
I did get the salsa roja (red salsa), and even though I was hoped it was spicy, it surprised me by how smooth and smoky it was. Unexpected, but very welcome, and it paired well with the chorizo and doubled-up tortillas.

Very dissapointed with this food, there is no way you guys cannot cook better than this. The tacos were all fat instead of meat, and this is the portion for bistec? For that price! Salsa was mostly water.
Parece que la comida esta hecha sin amor y tratando de reducir costos. Ni siquiera sal le pudieron poner.

We were looking for a place that has Birria Tacos and found this gem. Our food was ready very quickly and was clearly made fresh! Even the chips, guacamole, pico, and desserts were all fresh ingredients and delicious. The staff was very friendly and polite. We will definitely be back to dine in soon.

Best Meal of Our Trip!
Mi Tierra was hands-down the best food we had during our trip to the USA from Canada. The flavors were authentic, the ingredients fresh, and the service was warm and welcoming. Every dish was delicious especially the tacos and enchiladas, and we had amazing service from our waitress Cristina. A true gem! We can’t wait to come back!

Visited this Mexican restaurant and was blown away the moment I walked in. The walls are covered in authentic Mexican artwork and décor — vibrant colors, handcrafted pieces, and cultural designs that make the whole place feel warm and genuine. It’s like stepping into a little piece of Mexico.
The food matched the atmosphere: rich flavors, homemade taste, and great portions. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the whole experience felt inviting and real.
If you’re looking for a spot with true Mexican character and amazing food, this is the place. I’ll definitely be returning!

I call this a hidden gem. The food was so good! I had tacos el pastor with beans and rice. The flavors were all there and the portions were filling!! If you want authentic Mexican food, come here! The Horchata was good, street corn too. I also had tres Leche and it was so good.
I liked when I came in as they opened i could smell how clean it was too. This is my spot and it should be yours too.
Plenty of parking too.

The place is very familiar, fresh and beautiful, the service by Cris is the best I have ever received, the food is extremely delicious and the best thing is the price, here you can eat well, nice and cheap.
Without a doubt, the trip from New York to here was completely worth it. Mi Tierra Mexican Restaurant lives up to its name.

I just discovered this place about 6 weeks ago. I’ve been here almost every week since. I had the empanadas which were good. They were quite large. The el pastor tacos are absolutely delicious. Enjoyed the burrito which is loaded it’s very filling. Finally I’ve also had the fajitas which were also delicious. I brought a friend she had the chicken quesadilla and really enjoyed it. The salsas and chips in advance of the meal are yummy and make a great appetizer. This place is quickly becoming my favorite Mexican restaurant in Scranton
