Boyfriend and i were driving through town and this was the only thing open. Place was packed and turns out people come from out of town to eat here for a nice meal prepared by an excellent chef. Really tasty Pecan crusted walleye. The soup and salad bar is included with just about every dish. Loved the broccoli salad. Good service too!

My experience here was not a good one. For starters, music blares out of the bar area, making it very difficult to engage in conversation.
On the night I was there with my family, the staff was having a meltdown. Literally.
We were told that the cook was very angry, which resulted in orders barely leaving the kitchen. I ordered a BBQ chicken sandwich and TWO HOURS later, it still hadn’t even come close to being cooked. Unbelievable.
One of the waitresses was crying as she went around to tables; I felt bad for her, but at the same time it created a very awkward environment as a patron.
I was told not to leave a negative review for Cedric’s because it’s a restaurant that is deeply embraced by the locals. While that may be true, I don’t believe that’s an excuse for the poor service I experienced that evening. I have had their food before, which is okay, and that’s why I gave two stars instead of one.
In my opinion, Cedric’s needs step up in managing their staff’s attitude/conduct. It left a horrible impression.

The staff is wonderful. The location is a cozy little town next to a lake. I love Cedric’s so much I’ve been going there for the last 25 years. The food is always amazing.
