Laurel Park is a wonderful new addition to the South Park dining scene. The food was delicious, and the space itself is stunning, with a beautiful indoor-outdoor layout that feels both welcoming and elevated.
We shared a variety of appetizers and every single one impressed. The focaccia was light, fluffy, and had an amazing texture. The beet hummus was vibrant and full of flavor. The Hamachi crudo was incredibly light and fresh, and the fried cauliflower had the perfect texture with a bold, delicious flavor — not soggy at all.
Our server, Cami, was fantastic — very personable and knowledgeable about the menu, which made the experience even better. There were a couple small delays, including a short wait for silverware, but that’s totally understandable for a brand-new restaurant finding its rhythm.
It was also my birthday, and they truly made me feel special. I was given a handwritten card, and they brought out a cake with a candle — such a thoughtful and lovely touch.
Overall, a great experience, and I highly, highly recommend Laurel Park. We’ll definitely be back.

I had the privilege of dining at Laurel Park in SouthPark this evening, and it is an absolute standout. The food is absolutely excellent, with thoughtful flavors and high-quality ingredients that make every dish feel special without being overdone. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between sophisticated and inviting—elegant enough for a nice night out, yet warm and comfortable so you can truly relax and enjoy the experience.
What really elevates Laurel Park, though, is the service. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming, making you feel taken care of from start to finish. Whether you’re there for a casual dinner or a special occasion, Laurel Park delivers on every level and is well worth the visit.

This place is a true gem! The menu offers a great variety, and everything we ordered was outstanding—rich flavors, quality ingredients, and perfectly cooked. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between cozy and lively, making it a great spot for a casual night out or a special occasion. You can tell a lot of thought goes into both the food and the guest experience. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return!

Very classic vibe, perfect for families. The food is excellent – the short rib was tender and juicy. The pasta completely exceeded my expectations – I thought it would be ordinary, but the sauce had a unique, delicious flavor, and the noodles were perfectly cooked with great texture.

I have been to Laurel Park three times. It’s worth the drive from Davidson. The atmosphere is hip, clean and modern. The food was amazing. My favorite meal there was the grain bowl with grilled salmon. I crave it every day. Another favorite is the steak frites. The steak was tender, juicy and flavorful. The servers we’ve had have been outstanding and attentive. I can’t wait to go back again!
For brunch, the cinnamon roll was perfect, and the eggs Benedict was cooked and presented beautifully.

This exceeded our already high expectations. We frequented this location for 30 years when it was another great restaurant. The massive (& tasteful) interior refresh, incredible outdoor bar & dining area, attentive (but not intrusive) service, & creative (but exceptionally tasty) menu took a favorite location of ours into a quantum leap. Sizable portions. Highly recommend! (We couldn’t help but dive into the avocado oil citrus cake before we took the dessert pic. 🙂

We had an absolutely lovely time and great experience at Laurel Park this evening.. it is hardly believable that they opened just two days ago. Our server, Ella, was so kind, efficient, helpful, and knowledgeable about the entire menu. Our appetizers were outstanding – we chose the meatballs and the firecracker shrimp. Our entrées were also delightful. I had the braised short rib, my daughter had the crabcakes, and my husband had the steak frites. All great…we can’t wait for Spring to enjoy the spectacular patio!!

New favorite spot. Welcoming, professional environment from the maitre’d, our server Jessica and the owner Dan. Although our first visit we already felt like regulars.
The decor is bright and open. The acoustics were also great. The steak frites was perfect temperature. The chicken marsala was a 10. The chocolate olive oil cake was delicious with just the right amount of sweetness.
We went for lunch, which coincidentally was the first day lunch was offered. Very pleased… can’t wait to come back for dinner soon.

First visit on NYE and everything was great! We started with martinis then ordered a bottle of wine. The fried cauliflower app was so so good. The flavors were spot on. Rotunda and Caesar salads were good as well. The Chicken Florentine and Maltadina pasta were both delicious. That Calabrian cream sauce on the pasta…just a little heat but totally palatable even if you don’t like spicy. Pasta was cooked perfectly. Chicken had so much flavor and was a very generous portion. Service was right amount of attentive and helpful with recos. Some feedback…need more craft cocktail choices on the menu and you need a burger on the menu. I only say this because of your competition down the street…they have one and it’s a good affordable option if someone wants the experience but an entree choice that’s less than $25. We will be back for sure!
