Really loud , maybe not have metal on the walls . Called asked if they were still serving food. Lady said yes til midnight. We drove from Elba to eat. Got here was told it’s a private club and wanted 10. Each to walk in the door. They did let us take it to go. But very disappointing ;(

I almost hate to make this post because I’m in fear of them having a line out the door and making it difficult to get a steak, but I firmly believe in giving credit where credit is due. This is by far the absolute best place to get a steak dinner! I love the steak so much that I can’t steer myself away from it to try something else, and that’s why I’m not commenting on the other food. But if I had to bet on it, I’d say it’s just as delicious as the steak dinner. I absolutely love the big charcoal grill outside the front door so you can see them grilling up your steak. It’s absolutely phenomenal on all levels!!!!!!

Went to see Ashley Brooks, and this bar was amazing. They had some of the best dancers I have ever seen. The place was so fun and hopping!! I can’t wait to visit this place again. Thank you for the amazing experience

I’ve never been to a bar that serves GOOD food. The wings there remind me of the wings from Buffalo Wild Wings. The staff there is very friendly, and they always make sure to greet you at door! If you want to have a good time make sure you stop by the HONKY! 🙂

Food was excellent. Band, Saturday night, was way too loud. Sorry not that old. Seen and been to concerts, to be good you don’t need to blast your patrons out the door. Good music, just way too loud. Actually there were more people outside when left the inside. Hmm.

While traveling through Opp, my sister Vonnie and I stopped in at The Honky Tonk, where JC and Carla Cornelius served to us some of the best ribeye and chopped sirloin steaks we have ever eaten! My ribeye was perfectly cooked, and was juicy enough that it required no steak sauce whatsoever. The salad and dressing were fresh and really delicious, also.
The other customers there for the pool tournament were friendly and engaging. We had a great time!
We want to make this a night out each month from now on! Not one complaint from us…praises and gratitude only!

UPDATE: After posting and reading the reviews, I am updating my post.
Two negative reviews. SMH.
One negative post stated the owner confronted a reviewer. No, the owner clarified what had actually happened. Also, I believe in Alabama, being a private club allows that club to serve alcohol on Sunday.
Some people cannot be satisfied. Some people are just negative people.
Don’t worry about them in the least. ALL OF YOUR POSITIVE POSTS SPEAK FOR THIS BUSINESS CLEARLY AND LOUDLY.
This is a great business with great food, staff, bands, and activities.
KEEP ON KEEPING ON! Like I read in one post, “A diamond in the rough.”
