The food was amazing!!! We received large portions of crispy fish. The big bang shrimp was simply banging. The collard greens were perfectly seasoned. The creamy macaroni and cheese had a nice cheese pull to it. We sampled three deliciously moist dessert cakes: strawberry crunch, red velvet, & sweet potato. The sweet potato cake with the cream cheese icing was a five star winner. Thank you BeeBee’s Spot for an awesome dining experience!

I visited this place for the first time today. I enjoyed it so much. The atmosphere was nice, the waitress looked well and spoke well. The service was second to no other. I ordered the catfish (2 piece) with yams, loaded mash potatoes and a side of collards. The food was delicious, the food was flavorful yet had a cohesiveness with everything else on the plate. After leaving I found myself still tasting great flavors from the food that’s how I know I throughly enjoyed. Thank you for your service, time and commitment. Keep going.

I had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy and collard greens. The garlic bread was awesome. The meatloaf was the best I have ever eaten. A huge portion. The sweet potato cake with cream cheese icing was like pure heaven in your mouth – moist and rich.

The Mac n cheese was good and authentic. The mashed potatoes were good and authentic. They didn’t need the gravy though. I asked for fried pork chops they gave me pan seared smothered in gravy chops. They weren’t that tender. They were seasoned well, but the salty gravy gave them too much seasoning. The toast was good. The Yams were good. The portion size was a bit small but they were good. I may go back to try other dishes?

Came in on a Sunday – to my surprise we were the only customers. As delicious as this food was- this place deserved to be packed with Sunday dinner guest. My husband and I stopped in – kinda skeptical when we saw it empty- but, we soon realized we were definitely in the right place. The music was great (suggest maybe a streaming service as not to compete with incoming text msg) – the food was delicious- we had whiting filets (I had the sandwich and husband had the fish and chips). This particular day they were out of a few items (no yams, tea, ginger ale) but we understand and made alternate choices. My only regret – not taking a pic of my food – it was nicely plated. As we looked around the outside on the way out – we noticed if you were not intentionally looking for this place -it would be hard to find. It would been great to see more advertisement to get people into this venue because it was definitely deserving!! Every single person there was personable and welcoming! I can’t wait to recommend it to our family and friends.

I really did not expect this place to taste as good as it did because I’m used to very mediocre soul food spots no matter where I go (city or state) other than Atlanta lol. The food alone calls for 5 stars. Everything was fresh and well seasoned/prepared. The macaroni and collards were so delicious which is rare to me. I went on Friday night for a table of 1. The staff were really sweet. I liked the music and the set up. I would love to visit again if I ever return to Lynchburg. I really hope they expand to my city someday ❤️❤️❤️

Had a drink at the bar as I waited for my take-out order. I ordered the Catfish with Greens and Yams (and added Mac n Cheese). My food was delicious!!!
