This is definitely my kinda place. The food and drinks were excellent. Loved the atmosphere. Wasn’t a stuffy type of place. The owners greet you and come around to make sure everything is up to satisfaction, very friendly.

We went last night for our anniversary celebration. Chef Eddie doesn’t disappoint. My salmon was just the way I like it. The white beans and escarole was seasoned perfectly. Yummy. Food is excellent, service is attentive and I really like the greeting at the door. Nice decor and relaxed atmosphere. Their specials are amazing. My husband was ill so I cannot count his dinner there. If you have a special diet, most can be accommodated. If you know you are going, call before you go to see if your meal can be made just for you. Gluten free is easy. When I want a hamburger or steak, this is the place. Also everything else.

One 18 Catering did it again! Thank you for always coming through for our family. First you catered our daughter, Rachael, and son-in-law, Adam’s engagement barbecue for 200 plus guests at our home. People could not stop raving about the food! And, the servers were so incredibly friendly. I was simply so happy I did not have to lift a finger from the minute I woke up. Then you made food for Rachael’s bachelorette party – which was exactly what we wanted. Then there was the rehearsal dinner, which was in the Annex; once again you went above and beyond with a terrific menu and delicious food. Next you brought food to our houses for the morning of wedding festivities – more great platters, and you put us to ease. I certainly have not been able to have a party for my daughter and her now husband without you. Thank you for always making all our catering needs so carefree, plentiful, and delicious! You are all amazing!

We held our company holiday party last evening @ One18 American Bistro last evening for the 2nd year in a row and Chef Eddie Goldberg his wife Debbie outdid themselves again!!! From all of the amazing apps, the amazing dinner and deserts and wait staff and bartender, everything was 5 stars!!!! They handled our 40 people in there private room and another 40 or so in the restaurant for another holiday party and everything was perfect!!! I strongly recommend 118 whether it’s for an event or just a great casual dinner you can’t go wrong!! Thanks to Eddie and Debbie and staff for a memorable evening!!!

We have recently moved to the Jersey shore and are unfamiliar with the local restaurant scene. At the same time, we have been looking for a place to have about a dozen people for a celebration of our fiftieth wedding anniversary. Someone suggested One18 so we checked it out tonight and are sold. We were warmly greeted as we entered and seated at a table of our choice. The service was warm and friendly. The food was superb. They were out of the lamb chops I ordered so I went with the filet. The best filet I have ever had – a wonderful crisp sear on the outside and tender medium rare on the inside. The risotto accompanying it was perfect. My husband had the blackened shrimp special and really enjoyed it. The bread was so hot it nearly burned our fingers. The owner/chef came by to see how our meal was and apologized for not having the lamb. We talked about how they would handle our event. The bartender shook hands on the way out. We felt valued and are looking forward to becoming regulars.

Great food, not your same-old same-old menu. Familiar enough to love, but with flair enough to excite. Wait and kitchen staff are very accommodating. A very friendly place for memorable intimate or family meals.

Went here for a Christmas Party that was held in their annex building. What a cute adorable place. A great place for party. Our dinner ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Eddie put his heart into making sure every dish that came out of the kitchen was better than the first. I’m a Caesar Salad lover, but the Eddies Salad was so DELICIOUS I want to order it for lunch today. I highly recommend having a party in their annex or just going for a date night. Eddie and his staff will go out of their way to make you feel special.

Love their food. Great place. Nice owners. Lovely atmosphere. They always place good music. My fav’s are their caesar salad, steak and funnel cake fries. I have been there with many friends and family members and they have all tried a variety of food from their menu and everyone has RAVED about their meal. I highly recommend.
