I came to this location on 11/19 alittle after 7pm. I was expecting to drive up, have my order taken and move along in under 20-30 minutes. When me and my 20 month old daughter pulled up there were a couple of cars ahead of us. Both lanes were taking orders and there were at least 10 people outside taking orders. I assume it did seem as though people were being trained on shifts as well as changing shifts. It took about 10 to 15 minutes before someone took my order and then when I pulled up to the part of the lane that merges we sat for about 10 to 15 minutes before we received our order. When a young lady finally came to the car with my order, I had to sit an extra 10 to 15 minutes behind these cars in the picture due to the cones blocking My way out. I normally go to the location on Gratiot by Macomb Mall, but because I’m about 10 to 15 minutes from this location, I figured I would try them out since I have not been here since they’ve opened. The food was hot, however my experience with this location was very much so disorganized and slow to say the least. I probably will wait for a few months before I return again if I return. In total the almost hour wait for food was not really worth it.

I am so happy that Chick-fil-A finally opened. I went three times in one day. Today, I waited in line for about 3 minutes. It was so nice to see how people left the walk up window with their children smiling it touched my heart to see the children with a smile on their face. You would’ve thought they had a toy in their bag.
Mr. and Mrs. Taylor, I wish you guys the best on this business journey. I appreciate you bringing your Store to the city of Detroit. I don’t have to go out on Gratiot/Roseville which saves me gas money. I will do my best to spread the news of your opening. I really like how all the employees were very clean and friendly even when training the new employees everything went so smoothly.
I was very pleased… Just remember you can’t please everybody all the time just do your best and you will find success again welcome to the neighborhood.
By the way, I noticed neighboring businesses and across on the other side of Mack Avenue people standing around looking taking pictures or videoing. I really hope they find something positive to say and not look for the negative.

The food looked fine nothing was wrong with it nothing tasted bad about it. But about 30 minutes to an hr after eating it I got really sick. So I fell asleep and threw up all of the chic fil a. So I could only assume that this location is not clean. OSHA needs to make a visit here.

The manager at this location is a gem of a human. She is always in a good mood and she helps her staff out when they need help. I frequently pick up doordash from this location and I admire her grit. The rest of the team has always been very nice and helpful.

Well, I’m appreciative that this is a recently opened location, there’s something systematically wrong with their operation. Going through a drive-through at Chick-fil-A should not take 30 minutes to get your food. Cars five and six vehicles behind you should not be getting their food before you are. In one instance, my wife was told to pull forward. She waited 35 minutes finally went up to the counter and said where is her food and they said that they thought she drove away.

I’m trying to understand why my chicken noodle soup is extremely spicy! I planned to share this with my sick toddler and it is too spicy for even me. Every time I come to this location something goes wrong. The milkshakes never taste like the usual chick fil a milkshake. My breakfast sandwich was made wrong. The chicken on the sandwiches just don’t taste like normal chick fil a. Not impressed after much anticipation and wait for this location it’s disappointing.

Worst chic-fil-a in America. Just terrible service. If you get into the drive thru, be prepared to wait AT LEAST 20-25 min. I don’t know if this location just doesn’t have any management or if corporate doesn’t care, but if you have ever been to a ChicFilA in the south this is laughable. And then when you finally get out of the traffic jam and get your food, the fries will be ice cold. Just the absolute worst and such a bad impression for what was once a great and respected brand.

I’m currently still sitting in park waiting for any movement in the line of vehicles. This location is way too slow for a drive thru restaurant. Go to a different location. It’s too late for me, save yourselves!

This location is new, but don’t expect the same standard of service. They are not opening on time. If you’re looking to find a breakfast spot that actually opens at 6:30 -7:30 AM, Try a different location. It’s literally 730. They’re still not open.
