So happy I got to celebrate my birthday with my family at Ishi Shabu. The lunch was on the house, which was such a nice surprise. The hot pot was good, but the sushi bar really stole the show.
The sashimi was fresh and perfectly prepared — easily the best I’ve had at a buffet, and I’ve been to many. The quality was on par with non-buffet Japanese restaurants.
Friendly staff, great atmosphere, and an overall fantastic experience. I’ll definitely be back!

We had Alex as our server. She was excellent. So friendly and informative. The atmosphere of this restaurant is fantastic. Super clean and elegant design, with the classic rustic touch of a Sturbridge building. Very reasonable cost at about $40 per person for all you can eat sushi and hot pot. Not to mention the food was delicious and well-presented. We will be going back and recommending 100%.

Absolutely delicious! This all-you-can-eat sushi spot is such an incredible value. The fish portions were excellent; perfect balance of rice to fish on every maki roll and the unlimited sashimi was super fresh. The staff were friendly and attentive, very accommodating with substitutions and careful about allergies. Highly recommend this place and I can’t wait to go back!

My husband surprised me with an afternoon lunch date here on Thur 11/6. It was our first time dining here since the change in ownership and design. Our server Andreya was super friendly and explained all the options to us wonderfully. We did the All You Can Eat sushi and it was phenomenal! The noodles in the Lo Mein were especially delicious. We tried multiple rolls, some standard some specialties and everything was excellent. We’ll def recommend and be back ASAP. 🙂

Great Sushi restaurant, and this is coming from someone who does not typically eat Sushi. My friends and I went during a weekday for late lunch/early dinner, and we ordered a variety of options from the all you can eat Sushi menu, including the Five Star Maki, Naruto Maki, Haku Maki, Dragon Lobster, and Burning Blossom Maki, as well as a few other options. The waiter was very attentive, and the atmosphere was relaxed. The restaurant was also very clean. I would definitely recommend this place to any sushi lover!

We went for all you can eat sushi for dinner and it’s pretty much worth it if you can eat well. There’s a ton of options on the menu, and the quality of the food is pretty decent. Our server was attempted to make sure we had everything. My only thing is why did they skimp on my eel sauce?

All-you-can-eat heaven unlocked! Checked out Ishi Shabu Ishi Shabu Sturbridge in Sturbridge and WOW — they came in hot with sushi + hotpot for an absolute steal. Started strong with gyoza, seaweed salad, beef yakitori, & the star of the show… lobster rangoons with mango sauce (I’m still thinking about them). Then dove straight into roll after roll of super tasty sushi until we couldn’t take another bite. Dessert? Our stomachs said “maybe next time.” If you need me, I’ll be dreaming about those rangoons.

Appetizers and Main meal was fresh and delicious. My son had hotpot I had a variety of sushi and sashimi. All very good. The dessert was wonderful looking. The staff was friendly and worked as well organized team even though they were all extremely busy! Keep up the great work and positive attitudes. Definitely recommend reservations we went on a rainy day before the rush and had to wait 20 minutes for a table to open. Before we were sat the wait had grew. Enjoy a great family meal in a casual but sophisticated dinning atmosphere

100% recommend. We did the all you can eat sushi but you can add hot pot as well. The price was amazing for all the food we ordered. Food was fresh and came super quick. Great service. Seems like it gets really busy so definitely make a reservation.
