Stopped by while on a Resurrection Bay cruise tour and had lunch. The staff was friendly, food was good, view was outstanding! My wife who isn’t a fan of salmon…. Now expects me to make salmon cakes when we return home, she loved them. They do offer chicken and vegetarian option, so my wife got chicken and I shared some of my salmon cake with her.

Got the lunch as part of the tour. I got the salmon although I don’t because I figure it’s Alaska why not: I LOVED my choice. It was a good hearty meal.

Lunch here was included in my kayaking/cruise tour. It was a soup and salad bar experience. Although soup and salad doesn’t sound very ambitious it was one of the best spreads I have seen. Very fresh and well supplied. The seafood chowder was especially good. The only complaint I would have is the powdered creamer for coffee.

More for the scenery than the food. The views are spectacular and we enjoyed every minute outside. As for the food, We were last in line and by the time we got our food it wasn’t really edible (super dry salmon cakes, no sauce to revive it). Others seemed to enjoy it though.

I was not impressed with this stop. It was a quaint little island with nice bathrooms, lake, and great ocean views, but the portions were small, and not much flavor to the dry sockeye salmon. This was included in the Kenai Fjords Tour, but I would have rather spent more time on the water searching for whales. In only 1hr stop for dinner (more like an afternoon snack), there wasn’t even enough time to explore the island.

Decent food, not terrible but not amazing either. The salmon cakes are pretty good, the chicken and prime rib are usually overcooked. I’ve been here many times, not for the food but for the beautiful glacier tours.

We did the Kenai Fjords tour with lunch on Fox Island. Looks like a great place to stay, but as for lunch, it has picnic tables to sit outside that were large enough for 6 of us. The dining room is very large. The salmon lunch was great. Views were beatiful. We had fun skipping rocks on the pebble beach.
