We had a WONDERFUL time at Meridien! The French Fry Flight was excellent(LEMON PARM ). The Pasta Primevera was superb and my fish n chips were excellent as well. MUST GO for Dayton Foodies! Environment was really cool too.

My husband and I tried Meridien for the first time tonight and we were so impressed! The food was aaaamazing. It’s small plates which is so fun to try several. The hummus was the best I’ve ever had. The Thai curry pasta was unreal. And the lemon pasta was so fresh and light! The staff were so friendly and amazing – especially Brie and Jess! Hats off to the chef!

We went there last night and it was wonderful! Highly recommend. The service was fantastic, the drink selections perfect and atmosphere just what we were looking for. The gourmet grilled cheese and grouper were delicious and I honestly want to go back soon! The bartender made a perfect Manhattan. The oysters were super fresh.

Wow this used to be dark and dank Sweeny’s Seafood now a swanky bright and relaxing small plates and cocktail spot. Portions are small aka small plates but the flavors were there, especially the Moroccan Chicken Sammies. Great drink menu but the three drinks we had fell flat. You guys need to work on your preparation. Nice lounge seating and outdoor space too. It was enjoyable but be prepared to spend some cash. Not as much as Manna but still pricey however both places are worth going out in Uptown.

Meridien was an incredible date night location! My husband and I each got a cocktail and three small plates to share: the French fry flight, the artisan flatbread, and the chicken dumplings. All the food was served quickly and was incredible, especially the French fry flight. Our waiter was knowledgeable and made sure we had exceptional service throughout the night. I also highly recommend “The Downtown” cocktail – it was an excellent addition to the meal. We can’t wait to go back!

This is another great addition to the Uptown Centerville area. I’m blown away buy some of the reviews complaining about portion sizes. It’s called SMALL PLATES!! You are supposed to order everything on the list unless you are by yourself.
Anyway, we really enjoyed our first visit. The food was great, the wine was amazing, I got a pour of 18 year old Elijah Craig, and we got to meet the owners. Very nice people! They are still making adjustments as they just opened a week ago.
Our service was excellent! They have music but the people noise sort of drowns that out. I’m not sure there is much you can do about that.
We got the charred romaine wedge. It was excellent! The crab rangoon was very good and the sauce they make for it was really good. Lots of ginger. The veggie flatbread was on a tortilla which I wasnt a huge fan of but the flavors were really good. I loved the scallops! They had an excellent sear on them and perfect in the center. They just melt in your mouth.
I think they did an excellent job rejuvinating this place. They gutted it! I think it turned out great! We will be regulars!

This is a fabulous restaurant with high-quality small plates! I had the seared scallops, spiced nuts, black and blue tenderloin costini, and chocolate tiramisu cake. Everything was excellent, and this is a must try experience.

4. Caesar with 3 overcooked, tough shrimp was laughable at $20 as illustrated. Literally 3-4 grilled Romaine leaves. Cheese sprinkled around the plate with 3 large “croutons”-3
4. Sister’s 3 scallops were also way overcooked. Literally tough.-3
5. Other sister’s raw oysters came with a vinegar-type sauce. No cocktail sauce in the house. Really?- 3

For being new I give the service a pass on the 3 star.. I know they’ll get better. Extremely nice staff owner Matt was very cool and casual, they made this restaurant such a cool place from what it was before. A must check out for any cocktail and foodies out there. We tried literally the entire menu the night we went minus maybe 2 salads and loved everything. The chef is one of the best.. keep up the great work!
