Stopped in for a new to me version of quesadillas. They were an interesting take on a classic; pretty tasty. The shredded beef could use more flavor. Loaded with melty cheese. Green sauce is mildly spicy; with classic flavor. Red sauce was much milder, a BBQ chipotle sauce I believe. Filling, I only ate one and took the other one home. Homemade tortillas. Decent for the price, would order again. It was the nice woman’s attitude and helpfulness that I gave service 5 stars.

Maria marinates big rotisserie chickens and serves them half or whole with handmade tortillas and a couple sides. Great option for a family dinner! My family talked about how good that chicken was for a week!

We ordered 4 sopes plates with different meat options. The pastor was so sweet and had too much sauce. The carne asada was huge chunks with lots of fat pieces and had no flavor actually tasted boiled not like asada. The chicken also was too sweet and had too much sauce. I was excited to eat and very disappointed. Also she had a young boy taking orders and he couldn’t even get the order right. They handed us the jarritos at room temp as well. Do not recommend!

I was skeptical after retrieving my taco plate from the window ($12 as of this writing) but the chicken works great with the provided salsa Verde, the rice was savory and reminded me of Top Burmese (not coconut though).
The surprise winner on the plate for me was potato chunks seasoned with garlic and cotija crumbling cheese.
Said “4” stars because this is my first visit and their special seems to be roast chicken and sides.
Hillsboro Station is a fun food pod with a good bar, indoor and outdoor spaces, plus live music. Tonight was jazz, much more enjoyable than the rock artists.
