4.3 in my opinion. Food was good but it’s missing something. The churros ordered for dessert were DELICIOUS. Ordered the Wagyu tacos and the Wagyu burger. It’s good but missing something. Fries were not as good. Queso is ok and the esquite is good. I’ll be back and try again.

Wow! I have no idea why this gem of a restaurant doesn’t have more stars. The atmosphere is a beautifully designed space. I love that the bar is not the center of everything. The staff almost made me forget I was still in Midland. They all went above and beyond with making sure our experience was one we wont forget. Lastly, the food and cocktails we ordered were perfectly seasoned and the perfect portion. Not too much that we were neither wasteful or uncomfortable because we had to have that last bite. However, every bite was full of flavor and was so delicious. I ordered the seafood enchiladas (menu calls it the proper name) They were incredible and the black beans and rice were also very good. My husband had a pork dish which he could not stop expressing how deliciously tender his meal was.
Too many eateries over salt, add MSG type additives or serve ridiculously huge amounts. Providencia is not the typical Midland fare. We will be back.

I will say that from the moment we walked in everyone was very attentive & the restaurant seemed organized and clean. overall inviting atmosphere however; food was subpar but service was excellent. Pictured you will see chilaquiles, chilaquiles with egg whites, and huevos rancheros accompanied with chips and salsa. Unfortunately, the best thing I had was the Bloody Mary. Oh and let me not forget the churros… With the side of unfortunate Hershey’s chocolate syrup. I was expecting soooo much more from the menu. I’m going to attribute the less than satisfactory food due to it being a new establishment with first date jitters and trying to find its footing. I’ll give another update once I’ve mustered up the courage to revisit this establishment.

The food, service and atmosphere is top notch! We will definitely be back. Danny is great and took care of us. Only complaint is closing too early and feeling pressured to leave at or by closing time.

Great food and great staff! This has become one of my favorite places in midland to go. The food is wonderful and the staff is always attentive! I also love sitting on the patio so the kids can run around in the green space next door and have fun, while we can keep an eye on them!

The atmosphere is great – the restaurant is beautiful and the music playing was nice. Most of the staff is very attentive and lovely. There was an older man (who I assume is affiliated) by the front that wasn’t the most welcoming and made it a bit uncomfortable when he would stare. The food itself is tasty but the portion sizes vary a lot by what you order. I ordered the chilaquiles and was disappointed by the small serving size compared to other dishes others ordered at my table. Loved the appetizers. Amazing parking.

Let me start by saying Providencia just opened so they might be refining things. I had the Plato Especial. It all came out cold. The flavor was ok. The chorizo was dry, eggs were, again cold, and the beans had no flavor. There was also something gritty in the food. Service was ok. Friendly and polite. The atmosphere was nice. Others at our table had mixed feelings about the food. Comments were: steak was overcooked, and the desayuno ligeo was too salty. The best part was the salsa, delicious.

The ambiance was incredible. Everything was aesthetically pleasing. The appetizer portions were tiny. The street corn was mediocre. Guacamole was NOT Fuego has literally no spice to it; they should change the name. The drinks are good and strong. The food was okay but overpriced. Nearing the end. We felt rushed. They kept asking if we were finished with our food, but we were clearly still eating. Over all it was okay.

Showed up at 1pm on a Saturday unaware that the only available option was a brunch menu of about 10 items. Sat on the patio, which is a nice atmosphere. Ordered two tequila cocktails which were mediocre at best. The most surprising thing was how bad the food was. The portions were small, price fairly high, and the food had no flavor. The huevos rancheros was the worst I have had.
