I’m not one to go out of my way for a review, but as I sit here finishing my meal I feel compelled to tell anyone who will listen to please eat here. Drink here. Go for the vibes. Whatever you like but def eat here, really. We got the deviled eggs, delish. Shrimp and grits, incredible. Crispy Southern Chicken sando?? Amazing, wonderful, give me 10. And the tomato basil soup was fire. Off menu rec of poblano and cream soup, fabulous. Honestly all great things. We tried several drinks and they were all great. Come here, love your life, spend all your dollars.Katie was a badass and gave the best recommendations, highly appreciated!! 10/10 absolutely.

Wanted to check out this distillery for a while. We coincidentally came here at the start of happy hour which was a great thing!
We tried the little red corvette which was good but overall it was WAY too sweet for me. The first few sips were great, but midway through was just to much for my. My wife would definitely love this.
Friends and I loved the draft old fashioned. They were really tasty and it was at a really great price. We already ate before coming but heard a lot of people the other table saying they loved the smash burgers and other items.
Really great place and looking forward to coming back soon.

I knew Lockwood had great drinks but I was expecting average bar food when we ate there. Not so. We had a delicious crawfish pasta dish, a side salad, and the fish spread. Our waiter Connor was very attentive and helpful. Would definitely return as well as suggest you give it a try yourself.

Went here for dinner and had such a great experience. The service was excellent from the time we walked in to the time we left. Drinks were great and the food even better. If you like chicken salad and dill, this was the best I’ve had! Paired with the tomato soup…I’m already dreaming of having it again! The fried chicken was also a stand out. Can’t wait to come back!

Had some time to spare Saturday afternoon while enjoying the nice weather in downtown McKinney and decided to stop by. We’ve been wanting to visit for a while (have heard so many good things) and we are glad we did! We shared a frozen bourbon margarita and a flight of four (bourbon, rye, gin, silver rum) and they were all excellent. Our server Kyler was outstanding; he knows a ton about their offerings, gave great recommendations, and clearly enjoys his job. We will definitely be back for more cocktails and will stay for dinner next time.

Absolutely fantastic. 5+ stars! We’ve been to the Richardson location, but this was our first visit to the McKinney spot. We sat outside with our pups. Husband got the aged bourbon flight- he said it was good & I ordered the Lockwood Bramble- delicious, frozen, refreshing.
We planned to just get an appetizer to hold us over for dinner but decided to split the chicken tender dinner instead.
WOW.
Not only did the portions fill us both up, but we were absolutely astounded by the excellency of that chicken. It was incredibly moist and cut like butter. It may have been the best chicken we’ve ever had!
My husband said we’re coming back every week for that, lol.
Lockwood also honors a generous military discount, which is very much appreciated. We will definitely be returning, they are a welcome addition to downtown McKinney. God bless y’all!

Always loved the food from the Richardson location and had the pleasure of visiting here for the Oktoberfest downtown. Had lunch again recently and completely reminded me to leave a deserving review. The deviled eggs are a MUST try! Service is always great and the atmosphere is modern and clean. The menu has several unique items as well as amazing signature cocktails. We will definitely be supporting for years to come at all of their locations.

Stopped in for dinner, and I am so glad we did. The service was wonderful and friendly. The drinks were amazing, and the food was top notch. Don’t make the same mistake I did and sleep on this place. Why didn’t I try this place sooner? We will absolutely be back!

Excellent happy hour! Perfectly crafted drinks. Amazing deviled eggs and cheese spread! Relaxed atmosphere.
Enjoying life 1 sip, 1 bite and 1 small town at a time. Explore everything!
Edit: I just married the love of my life, so I’m happily off the market—but the comment suggesting we get married and spend eternity together? Hilarious. Bold. A+ energy.
Clearly, you get me—because yes, I would absolutely commit to the deviled eggs and cocktails here. No prenup needed, just a napkin and a cozy table.

We found Lockwood’s on the Collin County Foodies Facebook page and when I saw the picture of the chicken strip dinner, I knew I had to try this place! Service was great! We were greeted by two different people, both super friendly and happy to share about the place. This is their 3rd and newest location, and they have only been open for about two months here so people don’t know about it yet. I can tell you, people are missing out! $10 old fashioned was HUGE compared to what you get at other places (and absolutely delicious!!). The frozen Lockwood Bramble was HEAVENLY, especially on a hot Texas summer day. So refreshing! The Espresso Yourself Martini had a great chocolate/coffee taste and the oat milk added a nice richness. As expected, the chicken strip dinner, which came with tots and mac and cheese, was so delicious. Hot, crisp chicken, not too dry or juicy. Just perfect. The sides were phenomenal and could have been a meal on their own, if I’m being honest! So much food! We also tried the Tomato Basil Soup (perfection), the Truffle Shuffle Tots (excellent, the cheese on it was really good, and loved the fact that they brought mayo out as a side with it), and the Southern Bean Dip (really nice lemon garlic flavor, and the butter beans and toasted bread with it took it to another level. I honestly don’t think you can go wrong here. Literally everything was delicious, the service was fantastic, and the atmosphere is a fun and inviting environment! It’s not everyday you see Biggie, Dolly, Post Malone, and Ace Ventura, and Kip in the same place! Check them out!
