By no means am I saying the subs aren’t good. The problem is they are not the same that made Rubin’s king of subs. Please go back to the original flavor that made Rubin’s amazing. One complaint you put the pickles in foil. What a mess of juice everywhere.

After ten years of not going to Rubin’s for their Italian sub, I’ll go another 10, gladly.
I dont know when they started heating the Italian sub but I remember it much better than what was placed before me today. Did they change ownership? Red onions are for subway subs. Rubin’s had the best subs hands down in this town. I received a half warm greasy soggy sub. The bread was so wet from the no doubt Kraft Italian dressing off the shelf at Sam’s club. I remember the sauce being on the side but today I had a bucket arrive in front of me. Jersey mikes has truly been the only point of light when wanting a premium sandwich in this town. I’ll try to take a picture but I don’t like wasting my space in this phone.

Fast friendly service. Good, fresh hot subs. The Italian was very good as was the ham and cheese. My wife thought the Reuben was very good as well. Very affordable pricing. It is takeout only, no dining in. Would definitely recommend.

I hadn’t been here in years and while I was visiting home I wanted to try it. I thought it tasted like it was when I was a kid. I really enjoyed the hot turkey sandwich. Highly recommend the macaroni salad, it was delicious with a strong mustard/vinegar taste. Of course I had to grab Mister Bees chips too!

Had a close family member mourning the loss of parent. Rubens worked quickly and efficiently. I was able to send a deli tray so visitors and my relatives did not need to worry about cooking. Food was excellent and the employees were very nice and accommodating.

Very satisfied. My husband got the Italian sub and I got the BLT sub. Both were absolutely delicious! He also got the macaroni salad. We live far but would absolutely come here again if in the area. Only reason didnt give 5 stars was it was listed as having “dine in” and they actually do not. Well worth getting tho.

Spend almost an hour off and on trying to call between 11:30-1PM before giving up after getting the answering machine a few times instead of a busy signal.
Possible they closed randomly, but didn’t post it on their social media.
Tried unsuccessfully to order online (which said they were open), but their menu was not up to date for Doordash or square for a Reuben.
Had heard quality went down after management change, but I guess I won’t get to give it a chance!

Very sad…..this was truly a childhood favorite sub shop! As a kid, I remember the great taste of the hot Italian dressing putting a slight burn on my lips, but loving the best Italian sub in the mid-Ohio valley. Sadly, the politics and degradation in quality has ruined the nostalgic experience of my childhood (late 70’s and all through the 80’s). I still love my childhood local favorites The Pizza Place, Napoli’s and JR’s Donuts. This place was once among those greats…..but no more. Just very sad.
